during my stay, I was absolutely thrilled with the stunning ocean view from my room and appreciated the friendly staff who went out of their way to make my visit enjoyable, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, which is just a short stroll away, as well as great food options like the Side Street Cantina right around the corner.

The Hampton Inn is a gem at the beach! The views from the private balcony are stunning, and the free coffees 24/7 were a delightful pick-me-up after exploring the area.

woudl ve been nice if I actually got a room that matched what I booked instead of a tiny shoebox. Also, I certainly didn't appreciate that there were no elevators right by the garage, so I had to lug bags everywhere. Expected some royal treatment, but clearly that was too much to ask.

We loved the fantastic location right on the boardwalk, allowing us to easily access the beach and local attractions. The ocean views from our room were stunning, and the spaciousness made our stay comfortable. The breakfast offered decent options, including DIY waffles, which were a hit with everyone.

The indoor pool was under renovation during our stay, limiting our leisure options.

the hallway carpets smelled like hidden feet, so unwelcoming, I can’t even. Also, housekeeping left sand all over like I didn't go to the beach. I would've expected a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, but why ask for special treatment, right? Almost considered a good review, but honestly, it just was not possible at all.

the indoor pool was generally good, but only accommodates 11 people at once. the lighting in the room was a little dim and could have been improved.

The balcony on the 2nd floor had an unpleasant sewer smell!!! The indoor pool's chlorine smell gave me a headache within minutes!!! Elevators shook and moved way too slowly. it felt like a minor horror movie!!! What happened to cleanliness in rooms? I encountered issues like flies and leaks!!!

Felt super safe with key access everywhere! Plenty of grassy areas for my pup's potty breaks, and the local attractions were just a walk away. Room was comfy and everything was clean, especially for pet-friendly!
