The food options were extremely limited, and prices were exorbitant. for instance, six wings for $17 was quite steep and the lobster mac and cheese was surprisingly tiny for $19.

The Makai Room was spacious and had a nice layout. The resort view was decent, and the open-air vibe really made it feel tropical. However, it lacked direct sunlight, which left the room feeling a bit dark during the day. The room seemed a bit dated compared to what I'd expect from Hilton. Still, the easy access to the pools and lagoon activities was a huge plus!

It was just a prime choice for a quick weekend visit in Waikoloa with exceptional value. We loved paddle boarding on the lagoon. it was such a fun experience seeing all the tropical fish swimming alongside us. Make sure to grab some snacks at a grocery store before you arrive since food can get pricey.
