Charming hotel with a nostalgic vibe. The decor is reminiscent of the 30s, creating a unique atmosphere. Delicious food and generous portions. Staff is attentive, accommodating even picky eaters. The pool area is peaceful and relaxing. Unfortunately, the mattress in our King room was far from comfortable, leading to a restless night. Noise from the lobby and thin walls disrupted our sleep. The musty smell of the building felt off-putting, potentially due to age. Security at the pool was excessive. Drinks were pricey, and the poolside food didn't meet expectations. the restaurant and coffee shop downstairs are worth visiting. This hotel has potential, but improvements are needed for a truly enjoyable stay.

The pool area, complete with a great bar, was fantastic, and the Tap Room’s menu was both extensive and reasonably priced. an unsettling encounter with a staff member over noise accusations during our stay put a damper on the experience, especially since we were asleep at the time. Parking was a challenge, and the rooms felt compact. A bathroom update would definitely enhance comfort, but the vibe and amenities made it a memorable visit overall.

This place is fantastic for those who love exploring, as it's just a short walk to attractions like the Museum of Fine Arts, the Dali Museum, and Vinoy Park, all within about a 20-minute stroll, which is great when you want to soak in the local vibe and maybe grab a drink in one of the nearby bars or cafes like Kahwa Cafe or the Old Northeast Tavern; the staff is super friendly, and the pool area offers a tiki bar for a fun and relaxing experience, but the room had a musty smell that could use some fresh air.

I could hear everything from the room next door and above me, including late-night conversations and even someone falling out of bed. Not great for light sleepers!

The room was a great size, providing ample space to move around. The bed was VERY comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room at a pleasant temperature. While the bathroom was small, it was functional and the toiletries were lovely. Noise could be an issue, as it felt like doors were made of paper, allowing sound to travel easily from the hallway. Everything was very clean, despite the older building's charm. Bottled water upon arrival was a thoughtful touch in the heat. comfort was prioritized in this unique hotel experience.

The rooms were cozy, perfect for viewing the northern lights. The hot tub outside was an awesome way to relax after a chill night.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but worth it for the experience.
