The 21-acre lake offered a plethora of water activities, while the 1/2-acre lagoon pool and Camp Hyatt kids' programs ensured endless fun for the little ones. The hotel's tennis and golf offerings were top-notch, with courts and links frequented by pros. Not to mention, the miles of trails and free bicycle rentals provided a perfect setup for family excursions around the stunning grounds.

My wife says that a dedicated babysitting service would have been a great addition for parents hoping for a bit of tranquil alone time.

The rooms at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress were clean, well-maintained, and provided stunning views of the pool area and Lake Buena Vista. The facilities were top-notch, and the size of the rooms along with the amenities offered made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

While the resort offers fantastic facilities, the pool area and some aspects of the property were in need of maintenance. The pool, in particular, required deep cleaning and tile repairs, which is essential for a comfortable and safe leisure experience.

The decoration in the hotel's general areas was simply delightful. The grand lobby with its comfortable seating and beautiful floral arrangements made it a perfect place to relax and people-watch. Additionally, the hotel was very accessible for senior people, with spacious and well-lit hallways and elevators that were easy to navigate.

I would ask for a better vacation for senior people if the children of the staff could be more attentive to the "do not disturb" signs on the doors.

The outdoor facilities had beautiful gardens and waterfalls. The staff went above and beyond, even getting marshmallows from the kitchen when they were sold out. The manager was very helpful in upgrading our room and the view was great. The hotel's location allowed for easy access to nearby restaurants and a supermarket.

The Seafood Tower is so extravagant, it's practically begging you to max out your credit card. The Papa Doble cocktail will make you feel like a tipsy Hemingway wannabe. The gym in a cave is cool, if you're into that kind of thing.

Elevators and service were a disaster, but hey, who needs functional elevators when you're living in luxury?
