Nearby nosh spots like Rockin Tacos and Pino Gelato Cafe Boardwalk add a pinch of local flavor to the vacay mix.

The views from The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach were absolutely breathtaking. Being able to enjoy a meal at the on-site restaurants while surrounded by waterfalls was a unique and delightful experience. The convenience of walking to the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island for various dining options made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool and sea views from the room were a pleasant surprise and added to the overall experience.

It took a while to get checked in at the front desk, which was a bit frustrating.

The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach offers a stunning view from the comfortable rooms, and the property boasts modern audio-visual equipment in their business facilities. However, I found the rooms were not kept well, like something from a horror movie with plastic grated ceilings and tubs that looked as if they were the originals. The rooms are small, with no wardrobe, no microwave, and no full shower door, so the water will get on the floor.

The Island Resort at Fort Walton Beach offers complimentary wireless internet access and a year-round outdoor pool, but the carpet in 1st-floor hallways was nasty. the breakfast bar wasn't stocked very well, and the lack of drink and food service on the beach was a drawback for the cost of the stay.

Panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico from the private balcony are the perfect way to start and end the day. Waking up to the stunning sunrise and unwinding with a breathtaking sunset made me feel like I was living in a postcard. The tranquil sound of the waves was the ideal soundtrack to my stay.

I also enjoyed the beautiful garden area and the beachfront access, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun. this place provided a luxurious and comfortable experience.

They didn't seem to care or acknowledge my concerns, which was quite frustrating. However, I still recommend this hotel to everyone based on its excellent location, comfortable rooms, and the overall quality of service provided.

The Island Market is a retail paradise with snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. The beach has everything from a seafood restaurant to a dueling piano nightclub. Food truck experience is a must!

The staff were pleasant and accommodating. Lobby was clean and modern. Front desk girl was friendly. Beach view location was amazing. Housekeeping staff was friendly and responsive. Front desk reimbursed me for early departure.

The shop had all the snacks and drinks I needed. The beach was amazing with lots to do—volleyball, food trucks, and more. The seafood was top-notch. Our suite was spacious and comfy. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. The meeting spaces were perfect for our event. The event planner was a lifesaver. We had a blast exploring the beaches nearby. a great spot for a memorable stay. The 900-foot fishing pier was a hit with my fishing buddies!

My friends and I had the best time at the beach - the white sand was like something out of a movie! We built the most epic sandcastle and even found a cool spot for beach volleyball. The live entertainment at the resort was lit, and Misty Mermaid was super fun!

We wished for more late-night activities and a better party scene for us teens.
