The room initially had a strong odor of cleaning chemicals, which indicated thorough cleaning protocols. it also reeked of stale smoke, affecting the comfort significantly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, providing decent support for a good night's rest. Temperature control was poor; the air conditioning left us either freezing or roasting. Noise from adjacent rooms was problematic, with loud televisions and overhead disturbances disrupting sleep. The towels lacked absorption, making showers less pleasant. While the location was convenient, the cleanliness of the parking lot was disappointing, with cigarette butts scattered about.

I absolutely loved how easy it was to explore Springfield from this place, with the Springfield Cardinals stadium and Hammons Field just over four kilometers away, offering an exciting way to spend an afternoon, while the delightful Discovery Center of Springfield is only about five kilometers from my stay, perfect for a weekend stroll, and after enjoying the clean and comfortable room, I really appreciated the complimentary breakfast that filled me up for my adventures ahead; I would definitely stay here again, but the hotel could improve by addressing the minor maintenance issues in some rooms.

Housekeeping was on point. Room was super clean and the towels? Thick and comfy.

However, there were some minor maintenance issues in the room that could have been improved, and we were disappointed with the lack of vending machines for quick snacks.

Check-in was effortless. The price? Excellent. The food? Delicious. The cleanliness is commendable. Room 339—extra clean—was perfect for us, considering my husband's severe allergies. Shaw, the manager, went above and beyond. His response to our room change request was swift and accommodating. challenges arose. Key cards were finicky, requiring multiple attempts. The elevator often felt neglected and slow, and the fire alarm disrupted our sleep. a broken toilet seat was inconvenient, and the pool rules were lax; Lastly, the fitted sheet struggled to stay in place. Small adjustments could elevate this experience, but the essentials are good. I would return.

The exceptional staff made our stay truly enjoyable, upgrading us to a spacious suite without us even asking. the breakfast selection was great and provided good value for the money, despite the hotel not being the newest. However, improvements could be made in addressing non-smoking room issues and slow elevator service.

The Baymont Springfield had comfy beds with plush pillows. the staff was friendly and helpful, the indoor pool and hot tub were enjoyable. Breakfast was well-stocked even late. Clean and great service!
