The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfortable bed. The sticky floor and leftover dog hair in the sheets were disappointing. It's conveniently close to VSU and some nice restaurants for post-game meals.

The pool was great for the kids and they loved the breakfast. The staff always helped with anything we needed and the rooms were clean.

It wasn’t cheap but worth it.

Perfectly Placed Near Restaurants and Fun Activities

I loved that this hotel was just a few steps away from plenty of restaurants like Texas Roadhouse and Cracker Barrel, allowing me to enjoy delicious meals without worrying about parking or traffic; plus, I was glad to find that fun attractions, such as Leapin' Lizards Party and Fun Zone, were only a quick drive away, making it an ideal base for exploring Valdosta with family and friends while providing a comfortable room with helpful amenities like a fridge and microwave, and a relaxing atmosphere with attentive staff and great complimentary refreshments during happy hour. I did find that a small table in the room would have been a nice addition, but overall, the stay was refreshing.

The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, the cleanliness fell short – centipedes were an unwelcome surprise; I collected over 40 before leaving. The breakfast was decent and seemed to satisfy most guests, though the room’s decor was drab, and traffic noise was persistent. Maintenance issues, like bubbling bath mats and locked air conditioning, added to the discomfort. While some enjoyed the pet-friendly policy, the accompanying smells weren't ideal. It’s a shame, as the location and staff had potential to shine.

The dog run is fantastic and so spacious it felt like a doggy paradise. The breakfast buffet impressed me with its variety and the staff treated us like VIPs, always smiling.

The noise from other guests made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

The bathroom was filthy, with mold everywhere and what looked like blood on the tub. I even spotted bedbugs crawling on the bed. Honestly, it completely ruined my trip.

The heating in our room was effective, but the air conditioning could have been a bit stronger as it got a bit stuffy at times. The lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room was a downside for me as I enjoy having a hot drink in the morning. One thing that stood out to me was the sitting area in the lobby, it was cozy and nicely decorated. I wish there was a terrace or patio where guests could relax outdoors. The absence of garden furniture was a missed opportunity for creating a more inviting outdoor space. I appreciated the sink in the bathroom and the free toiletries provided, but I found the lack of an AM/FM alarm clock in the room to be inconvenient. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, but the carpeted floors seemed a bit worn out and could use some refreshing. On the plus side, the dry cleaning service was efficient, and housekeeping did a good job of keeping the room tidy. I did notice that the grocery shopping service was not available, which would have been helpful staying for an extended period. While the hotel had shops and commercial services on-site, I did not find them to be very diverse or well-stocked. The laundry service was convenient but a bit pricey in my opinion. The availability of an airport shuttle was a bonus, although it was disappointing that it was not free of charge.

During my stay at Wingate By Wyndham Valdosta/Moody Afb, the room comfortably accommodated us and the fridge was perfect! The complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations. Unfortunately, finding the hotel was challenging, and the initial room issues took time to resolve. Nevertheless, I appreciated the overall experience.

The temperature control worked well, and the bed was inviting. the bathroom needed attention—only one roll of tissue was provided, and the vent wasn't functioning. I appreciated the separate toilet and shower area. Unfortunately, the room had dog pee stains and an unpleasant odor. The hot tub heated up but lacked functional jets. Noise from barking dogs disrupted our rest at night. Maintenance issues with TV and a non-working room telephone added to the inconvenience. Staff interactions varied; while some were friendly, others were less welcoming.
