The rooms were beautifully decorated and the bed was top-notch. The bathroom was spacious and spotlessly clean. The hotel staff was friendly and professional, making me feel welcome during my stay. The location of the hotel was convenient, making it easy to explore the city. Additionally, the free coffee in the morning was a nice touch.

The prices at the hotel restaurant were quite high, which was a disappointment. I also found it frustrating that some of the amenities were not available or had to be purchased separately, such as the Wi-Fi and breakfast. It would have been better if these were included in the price or clearly communicated beforehand.

The hotel location was excellent, as it was within walking distance of all the museums and attractions in the area. Additionally, there was a leisure centre nearby, and it was relatively close to Capitol Hill. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious.

There were issues with the cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel, and some of the staff displayed a lack of professionalism and attention to detail.

The fitness center at Salamander Washington Dc is exceptional and has the same equipment as my gym back home. I was able to maintain my routine while traveling. The lap pool is another great feature, allowing me to swim laps instead of having to settle for a quick dip. I had a fantastic stay at the hotel.

The hotel's location was ideal, as it was so close to the National Mall and the Metro, making it easy for us to explore this beautiful city. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The concierge services were fantastic, and the front desk staff were always happy to assist us with any inquiries. Additionally, having a CVS nearby was convenient for any last-minute snack needs.

We recently stayed at this hotel and were impressed by the luxurious amenities, especially the spa and wellness center. The massage and body scrub were truly rejuvenating, and the staff were attentive and professional. The indoor swimming pools and sauna added an extra touch of relaxation. The sun terrace overlooking the beautiful garden area was a great place to unwind and soak up some sun. The restaurant had a great selection of dishes and the in-room breakfast was delivered on time, hot and fresh. The room was very spacious with exquisite decor and comfortable bedding. The Special diet menus were available which was a nice addition.

The only small issue we encountered was that the pool with a view was a bit overcrowded, so we had to wait for a sun lounger by the heated swimming pool. Additionally, the spa lounge was rather small which made it a bit challenging to unwind and relax before and after treatments.

Good restaurant with options for everyone.

My recent stay at Salamander Washington Dc was absolutely amazing. The comfortable and clean rooms were spacious, providing ample space for relaxation. The hotel's prime location allowed me to easily walk to all the attractions in the area. The staff at Salamander Washington Dc were extremely helpful and made my stay even more enjoyable. As a young family, we loved the spacious hotel rooms and the variety of amenities for children.

We felt happy with our stay, no reason to complain.

During my Christmas stay, I appreciated the hotel's thoughtful touches, such as the complimentary hot chocolate and festive decorations in the lobby. The staff was friendly and accommodating, taking time to provide directions to nearby holiday events and attractions. The location was ideal, within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. Additionally, the room had a cozy fireplace, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Despite the positives, there were a few negatives that affected my stay. The noise level from nearby rooms was sometimes disruptive and made it difficult to get a good night's rest. Additionally, the room lacked a mini-fridge or other amenities, which in turn made it challenging to store holiday leftovers. While I enjoyed the overall experience, these issues prevented it from becoming truly excellent.
