During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I really liked the unique and interesting design concept of the common areas. Each hallway and room had its own artistic touch, creating a different experience at every turn. Additionally, the hotel's location was very convenient. It was situated close to numerous restaurants, bars, and shops, making it easy to explore and enjoy the surrounding area. Lastly, I appreciated that the staff was courteous and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay.

There were a few aspects of my experience at this hotel that I did not enjoy. the rooms were quite small and dark.

The spread out school at Mcmenamins Kennedy School was perfect for staying distant from other guests and staff. The decor was outstanding, evoking nostalgia of old school days. The hotel had several bars on site that stayed open until 1 AM, a really nice restaurant that opens at 7 AM, and free coffee in the foyer. An outdoor soaking pool added to the charm. They even had a movie theater and brewed their own beer on site. The landscaping was well established, with unique and beautiful plants and flowers. a natural and unique stay, with convenient restaurants and courteous staff.

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

the location was perfect, close to the vibrant Alberta District. Secondly, the staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. Additionally, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable queen beds for a restful night's sleep. We also enjoyed the attention to detail, such as the solid doors and the charming outdoor patio at the restaurant. Lastly, the prices were reasonable, offering great value for money.

The only downside was the lack of designated common space for guests to gather, as the available areas were often used for meetings. However, this did not significantly affect our enjoyment of the hotel.

The Kennedy School is a unique and fun place to stay with plenty of activities and a lively atmosphere. The Boiler Room pub offers great drinks and a fantastic atmosphere. The building itself is fantastic, with traditional McMenamins style furnishings. The room had everything we needed and the space heater quickly warmed it up. The hotel offers a movie night in their theater, a hot pool to relax in, and the beds and bathrooms were fabulous. The breakfast and dinner were both extraordinary, with delicious food.

Felt extremely safe, nothing to complain about.

I recently stayed at a unique and eclectic hotel in Portland for a short and thoroughly delightful visit. The hotel had a friendly and helpful staff who made me feel valued and welcomed. The facilities were delightful, including a soaking pool, theater, and courtyard cafe. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby neighborhood and shops. Having parking available on site was a bonus, and the meals at the hotel were excellent and reasonably priced. one of the best and most original hotels I have stayed in.

I recommend this hotel.

The value for the money was great, with beautifully decorated and meticulously attended to intimate rooms. The location was convenient, with multiple restaurants within walking distance and downtown just a short Uber ride away. The staff was polite and attentive throughout our stay.

The only thing that could improve the breakfast selection would be to have more avocado and bacon on the eggs benedict, as well as a more flavorful sauce.
