During our stay at North Star Hotel Pictured Rocks, we had a minor issue with the TV not working. Cathy, the staff member, went above and beyond to try and fix the problem. Despite swapping out the TV and cable box, the issue persisted. The hotel even contacted the cable company for assistance. To make up for the inconvenience, they graciously upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite, which was the perfect touch to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel was not only super friendly, but also very clean.

One drawback was that the hotel charged my card at 9 PM on the night of check-in and didn't refund the money until a week later. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited and didn't offer much variety.

We loved staying here! The location was perfect for our needs. It was easy to get to and close to all the attractions we wanted to see. The room was very comfortable with great amenities like ironing facilities, heating and air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. The staff was friendly and really took care of us during our stay. We enjoyed the garden furniture outside our room and appreciated the free toiletries provided. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, too.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The hot tub was definitely hot. The cleaning staff was excellent and helpful. Parking was easy and it was close to everything including the golf course and waterfalls.

Additionally, having a gas station conveniently located across the street was a major plus.

One downside was that the room was a bit warmer than expected, making it a bit uncomfortable at times. Additionally, being situated adjacent to a busy roadway meant that there was some noise that could be heard in the room.
