The location is convenient. Easy access to many attractions. The staff, however, leaves much to be desired. I encountered a dirty bathroom at the office level. The smell was unmistakable. When notified, the staff showed indifference. Stairs leading to my room were similarly neglected. My room was fair but lacked comfort; the noisy A/C fluctuated temperatures erratically. Breakfast was unappetizing. There's a balcony, but it overlooks a lackluster view. I enjoyed the ample space and friendly service in the lobby. Room for improvement is abundant. An experience like this turns away guests. Consider other options.

Great river views and close to many Cherokee attractions

I absolutely loved how the river was right behind our hotel, providing us with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere while being just a short 3-5 minute drive to the vibrant casino and other fun sites like the Cherokee Bear Zoo, Museum of the Cherokee Indian, and even Oconaluftee Island Park, which we really enjoyed walking around. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even calling us to let us know we left something behind. The breakfast was pretty decent with plenty of options to choose from, but we did wish the rooms had more amenities like a microwave in the room itself.

Plus, there was a roach in the bathroom. Not exactly the relaxing experience we hoped for, considering the price we paid.

The amenities were well-stocked with basics like coffee, towels, and toiletries. the view was disappointing; it faced a concrete wall. Accessibility was important for my husband, but we managed despite the breakfast room's first-floor location. The late checkout accommodation was appreciated, but staff interactions could improve.

We had an amazing family stay at this hotel, and the complimentary casino shuttle made it convenient for us to visit Harrah's Casino, just 2 km away. The kids absolutely loved Santa's Land Family Theme Park and Zoo, and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, both of which are nearby.

My wife says that the breakfast options for kids could be more varied.
