We got great value for our money and the room was stunning with all the beautiful textures, furniture, and artwork. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, pier, restaurants, and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Food for breakfast could have been a bit better, but that's just a small nitpick.

The hotel is located in a convenient area, but it is not close enough to the beach. Some guests mentioned that it is a bit far from the ocean, which can be a downside for those wanting easy access to the beach. Additionally, the hotel has an older detached tower, which might not have the same level of modern amenities as the rest of the property. Another negative aspect mentioned by guests is the restaurant, where the food was sub-par and could have been better.

The spa wasn't open, which was quite unfortunate for guests looking to relax and unwind after a long flight.

The hotel also provides a great view and a thoughtful touch of birthday wine and cake. The poolside snacks are good and the staff is friendly. There are also nice additions like in-room wireless speakers and bedside USB points.

Loved the comfort and cleanliness of the room as well as the friendly and efficient staff. the hotel’s amenities were fantastic and the location was perfect for exploring the city. They even offered complimentary refreshments at the poolside, which was a nice touch.

What a luxurious experience! This venue is perfect for those who appreciate elegant and exclusive amenities. the Spa & wellness centre had a diverse array of massage styles, as well as a spa lounge for relaxation. the outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace with comfortable sun loungers and beach umbrellas provided the required ambiance. the location advantages were vast, including beach access and panoramic views. Room advantages such as private facilities completed the stunning stay.

The only minor issue was the dining options, where the menu was limited when it came to special diets. Nonetheless, the in-room breakfast was delicious and the bar/lounge area had excellent drinks that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Great location near shops, beach, and restaurants within walking distance. Modern decor, friendly staff, and comfortable rooms with new towels and comfortable pillows. Aesop bathroom amenities were a nice touch. Free bicycle rentals and good restaurant/bar options. Overall a nice stay with excellent service.

The rooftop pool is amazing, and the water tank/cooler filled with fruits and cucumbers was a nice touch. Although there were no glasses nearby, the staff quickly brought them once we asked. The room was quite big and comfortable. Overall I recommend Proper.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Santa Monica and had an incredible experience. The decor at Proper Hotel, A Member Of Design Hotels is absolutely superb, creating a relaxed Californian vibe from the moment you arrive. The staff were not only friendly, but also polished, efficient, and welcoming. I was impressed by the thoughtful touches in the room, such as clearly labelled light switches and automatic blackout blinds. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. However, the highlight of my stay was the rooftop area. The pool and rooftop bar were both superb, and I found it difficult to tear myself away. it was a faultless and unforgettable hotel experience.
