The hotel had a good location, making it easy to find. the room was spacious and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. the swimming pool was nice and comfortable, allowing for relaxation and enjoyment.

The staff was not friendly and did not provide good service. the restaurant service was poor, with long wait times for food and rude servers.

The value for money was excellent and the room was comfortable and clean. The location was convenient and the staff treated us warmly and attentively.

I recently stayed at Barcelo in San Jose for a weekend getaway. The staff at the reception were friendly and the lobby had a comfortable atmosphere with beautiful piano music playing. The room service was efficient and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfast selection was great, and our spacious room had a stunning view. The pool was amazing, clean, and had plenty of sunbeds. I also appreciated the staff packing us breakfast boxes when we had to check out early. a wonderful experience.

The hotel offers a variety of amenities for foreign tourists, including a complimentary airport shuttle, comfortable beds, a nice swimming pool area with plenty of loungers, and a poolside grill restaurant. The premium floor also features a small lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks, which we enjoyed. The beautiful gardens added to the overall ambiance of the hotel.

We had a lovely stay in a hotel on a hilltop surrounded by a gorgeous garden. The location was quite close to the city centre and next to the mall, making it easy to find restaurants. The room was comfortable, with lovely bedding and strong WiFi; the bathroom was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was packed with so many choices, something for everyone! The shuttle service was prompt and efficient.

There were some issues with the front desk staff, who appeared to be understaffed and overworked at peak times.

The hotel's location between the airport and city center was very convenient for daily trips. The staff was amazingly efficient and hospitable, always ready to help. The food cooked by the hotel's chefs was delicious. The hotel had safe parking, a fine pool, and a nice garden.

After weeks of hiking, it was a delight to stay at this hotel. The comfort, breakfast, and free airport shuttle service were all fantastic. The staff went above and beyond, even the Security guard helped me dry my shoes before my flight. The view of San Jose was breathtaking, and the breakfast options, with Costa Rican cuisine and continental choices, were delicious.

Special shoutout to don Mario, the friendly and helpful shuttle driver, and the young lady with a beautiful smile who remembered us from a previous stay. I recently stayed at a lovely hotel with beautiful tropical gardens and excellent service. The room amenities were great, including tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar, and in-room safe. The staff were attentive, from the manager to the receptionist, and they provided a welcome drink upon arrival. The hotel had a fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool, and jacuzzi, which were all excellent amenities. The spa centre offered massages, facial treatments, and body wraps, which added to the luxurious experience. I also appreciated the 24-hour room service and luggage storage, which made my stay more convenient.

The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept soundly. The following morning, I went down to breakfast and was pleased to see many options. I particularly enjoyed the omelette station and the fresh fruit. I had a pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel.
