Loved the modern and cozy room with a balcony. the bed was awesome and they provided a boiler, tea, and cocoa. the room had nice amenities like toiletries, blow dryer, and iron. the room was beautiful and well-equipped.

The cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to par. There were trash from the previous guest and hair on the floor.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable, situated in the most interesting area of Berkeley, right next to a high-end grocery store and in the "gourmet ghetto." It was also conveniently located near transportation options and within walking distance to the university, cafes, and shops. The staff were very pleasant and the cafe in the lobby was a nice touch.
