Stayed in two amazing rooms with their own grill and cozy atmosphere. Comfy beds, clean, and complimentary coffee and popcorn. Super quiet location near the river and mountains. Helpful and friendly staff. Bonus points for leaving a note upon our late arrival! GREAT access to river, perfect for hiking and fishing. Small but well-furnished rooms with all necessary amenities. Friendly staff and extremely comfortable bed. Love the location!

The Kern river in the back of the hotel saved the day! We were able to sit in the river to stay cool. General store across the street was handy. AC in the room worked well. Soft beds, hot showers, cozy rooms, easy parking. Jim, the host, was fun-loving, down-to-earth, and made my experience pleasant. We will be back!

I had an amazing stay at this riverside lodge! The room was equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, which made it super convenient for storing and reheating food. The hotel also provided gas and charcoal grills throughout the property, giving guests the option to cook their own meals. I found this particularly useful as there weren't many dining options nearby. The location next to the Kern River was absolutely fantastic, and I had so much fun swimming and floating with my friends. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and kind, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The value for money at Sequoia Lodge was excellent, with comfortable and well-maintained rooms equipped with small kitchens. The location by the river was great for swimming and fishing, and we loved watching hummingbirds from our porch. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable, even providing us with a bag of goodies for s'mores.

Menu for breakfast could be more varied and include more options.

We recently stayed at Sequoia Lodge and had a great experience! The room was very clean and cozy with a cute fishing theme. We loved the convenience of having a kitchen with utensils and a refrigerator. The deli/store/restaurant across the street had delicious food, especially the breakfast burrito. The lodge itself was well maintained and had a lovely electric fireplace to keep us warm. The property also had nice patio areas with decorative lights for evening relaxation. we highly recommend Sequoia Lodge for a cute and enjoyable getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge during our road trip through CA. The tranquil setting and proximity to the river were perfect for relaxation. The river view suite we stayed in was spotless, charmingly decorated, and equipped with a cozy fireplace and a well-stocked kitchen. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We enjoyed swimming in the river and cooking dinner on the BBQs provided on-site. It was a real find and a beautiful spot to stay.
