I really loved that it was just a short stroll to main attractions like Qualla Arts and Crafts Mutual which is just under 2 km away and the Oconaluftee Indian Village which is almost 4 km while Cherokee Rapids River Tubing is only about 3.7 km away making it super convenient to dive into local experiences, plus the hotel had a nice pool and hot tub that provided a lovely place to relax after a day of exploring but the bed was a bit hard and could use some improvement for a more comfortable sleep.

The Smoky Mountain Inn & Suites is ideally situated near popular attractions, which made it easy for us to explore Cherokee. The staff was friendly, and we appreciated the comfortable beds. several maintenance issues and lack of cleanliness detracted from our overall experience.

The pool and hot tub are decent but not extravagant, tucked away in a smaller building. Breakfast options are limited—think bagels and yogurt—nothing substantial. Maid service is only every third day unless asked, which was unexpected. The bathroom had a minor issue with running water, but staff responded quickly to address it. A solid choice for a weekend getaway, just know what to expect on the breakfast front.

Breakfast options were limited and poorly stocked. Miscommunication regarding the pool status was disappointing. Despite these issues, I appreciate the effort taken by staff. With improvement in housekeeping and amenities, this place could truly shine. I’ll consider returning, as the mountains call.

Perfect match for a mini-break over the weekend in Cherokee with great value-to-price ratio. Staff was helpful and friendly.

The location was great, just under two miles from the casino. The bed was comfortable, with a good height for easy access. The bathroom offered a spacious step-in shower with excellent water pressure. I appreciated the reading light over the bed and the separate light for the tub. there were some maintenance issues. The refrigerator froze our food and the heater knob was missing, making temperature control difficult. The elevator panel was held together with tape, which was concerning. Breakfast options were limited, and we found trash left from the previous guest. The room was clean, but there were areas needing attention.

The location is excellent and close to main attractions. The bed was super comfy, perfect for a romantic getaway.

Had a clean room with great amenities like air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom. The breakfast was basic but fresh. The location is good and staff, especially the lady at the front desk, was super helpful. Loved the hot tub and sun loungers too. Perfect for a laid-back stay!
