The room we stayed in was beautifully furnished and very clean, just like the other guests mentioned. The original furniture in the mansion added an extra touch of charm. The breakfast spread was absolutely wonderful with a variety of options, including freshly baked muffins, scones, croissants, and fresh fruit. The server, Shelia, was friendly and attentive. The location of the mansion was also great, with a few good restaurants close by. I had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room amenities were excellent, including heating, air conditioning, and a cozy sitting area. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch for some leisurely evening entertainment. The breakfast was simply amazing, complete with special diet options and expertly-made omelets. Additionally, the free parking and Wi-Fi were much appreciated. The staff were knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly, making us feel like we were staying with friends. The split level room we stayed in was unique and beautiful, with comfortable bedding and a large bathroom. The gourmet breakfast served each morning was a fantastic way to start the day.

The greeting from the desk person could have been more refined and elegant, matching the spirit of the hotel. We were also disappointed that there was no afternoon tea or wine in the evening, as we have experienced at other B&Bs.

As adults, we thoroughly enjoyed the charming and picturesque surroundings of the historic mansion. The well-maintained grounds and beautiful veranda provided a serene atmosphere for relaxation.
