Amazing ocean views and friendly staff at Surfside Resort made for a perfect coastal getaway. Older furnishings but cozy vibe. Being steps from the beach and spacious room with kitchen were highlights. Will definitely return for more ocean white noise!

The Surfside Resort at Rockaway Beach is a family-friendly oasis, offering a perfect beachfront setting for picnics and bonfires. The rooms with full and partial ocean views provide a luxurious experience, complete with well-appointed private bathrooms and charming amenities, like the coffee machine for a personalized touch.

The beds weren’t the most comfortable, but we managed. Just old bones getting creaky, but my son thought they were great.

Surfside Resort provides easy and friendly check-in/out. the room is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a kitchenette. Appreciated the extended showerhead height for tall guests. Amazing views and steps away from the beach. Location is peaceful and slightly removed from the town center, offering a more updated feel compared to older options in the area.

Always a great stay. Staff recommended best taxi. Has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, onsite parking, indoor pool, beach access. Pet-friendly and non-smoking. Perfect for me. Can't wait to return for Easter!

The beachfront location allowed us to easily access the pristine beach, and the kids loved playing in the sand and splashing in the waves. The spacious suite provided a relaxed setting, and the well-equipped kitchen was convenient for preparing meals. The availability of family-friendly entertainment like the DVD players and beach toys kept the children happily occupied during our downtime.

In my wife's opinion, it would have been great if the resort provided more organized activities or play areas specifically tailored for younger children, as this would enhance the family experience.

The parking lot was secure, and we felt safe leaving our belongings in our open-bed truck. The location was superb, just steps away from a beautiful, uncrowded beach where we could walk for miles. The staff was polite and professional, making our check-in process easy and hassle-free.

While the culinary adventures were top-notch, the front desk service left a salty taste, as two apathetic girls dished out lackluster hospitality. Plus, the "sleeping room" felt more like a cramped closet than a cozy nook.

loved the location right on the coast - with a grassy area before the beach. the separate bedroom was great for our family, and the full kitchen was a plus. even without an ocean view room - the view of the lake and ocean was fantastic. the lady with curly dark hair at the front desk was super sweet and helpful.

I recently stayed at a resort in Rockaway Beach and had an amazing experience. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking, and I especially loved the fact that the room had a complete kitchen with a dishwasher. The deck and fireplace added to the cozy ambiance of the room. The employees were also great and made our stay even more enjoyable. We were even lucky enough to witness a beautiful sunset from our upgraded ocean view room. it was a perfect three days, and I can't wait to go back next week for my daughter's birthday. It's definitely a new favorite place to celebrate birthdays.

Spacious suite, lacking arm chairs. Unclear accommodation for 4. Nice fireplace, clean with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. Close to the beach, but not beachfront. Adequate, not fancy. Well-priced. Peaceful with lovely ocean view. Unique art placement. Comfortable beds, controllable heating. Gas fireplace and pool available.

We loved our stay at this coastal hotel. The location couldn't be better, right on the beach with stunning ocean views. Although the hotel could use some upgrades, our room was spacious and well-stocked. The sound of the ocean waves lulled us to sleep each night.

The internet connection wasn't reliable during our stay, which made it difficult to stay connected to the outside world.

I had a blast spreading out my picnic blanket and building my own bonfire at Surfside Resort. They even have free WiFi for me to post about it!

Oh, how I loved the luggage storage space, but I guess it's too much to ask for a vacuum in the room. Sigh.

I got great value for my money at Surfside Resort. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, including a kitchenette. The location was unbeatable, right on the beach with beautiful ocean views. The staff was friendly and attentive.
