We loved the hotel's location, which was close to all the activities we wanted to do. The hotel facilities were great, especially the game room which was a pleasant surprise. We also enjoyed the camp fires in the garden during the chilly nights. The staff was brilliant and accommodated everything we asked for.

Quirky decor and great location. Comfy bed and spacious room with a nice view of the bay. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the concierge who arranged a taxi and provided essentials for our journey. Smores kits were a nice touch for a relaxing evening by the fire pits. Convenient for exploring the city.

I had a fantastic stay at this place! The location was superb, right at the boardwalk. I loved being directly across the pier, it made exploring so convenient. The room amenities were great, with a cozy sitting area and a safe for my belongings. The hotel staff seemed friendly and the service was top-notch. I also enjoyed the cool art and designs throughout the hotel, it added to the overall fun and creative atmosphere. The outside area with games and seating was a perfect spot for parents to relax while the kids played.

The layout and staff at the hotel were amazing. The hotel was very clean and welcoming. They allowed us to check in our bags early so that we could go sightseeing, and also held our bags for a few hours after we checked out. The amenities they had to offer, like smores by the fire, pool, and Jenga, were enjoyable. The hotel was in an exceptional location.

Conveniently located near Pier 39 and bus routes with great restaurant options nearby. Clean and comfortable rooms with unique decorations. Helpful and friendly staff always willing to offer recommendations. Courtyard and game room provide a nice place to unwind with a BYOB policy. Enjoyable stay overall.

The location was fantastic, right at Fisherman's Wharf. Plus, the staff was quick to respond and friendly.

There were some major issues during our stay. The air conditioning in the room was not working and we couldn't adjust it. Additionally, the elevators were out of order, which was a major inconvenience, especially since I had small children with me. The front desk employees were unhelpful when I asked about the elevators and I had to call multiple times to get any assistance. The shower was also a disaster, with hot water coming out cold and vice versa. It was not only uncomfortable, but my son almost got burned while trying to shower.

I recently stayed at Hotel Zephyr for a few days during my trip to San Francisco. The location was fantastic, with plenty of great pubs and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even calling me a taxi promptly at 5 am as requested. The room was clean and comfortable, with a fridge and coffee machine provided. I also appreciated the recommendations from Tatyana at the lobby, particularly the Boudin restaurant upstairs. my stay at Zephyr made my first visit to the city enjoyable and memorable.

The comfortable king size bed and nice size room ensure a pleasant stay. The friendly and helpful staff make you feel welcome, and the central location is a major plus. The courtyard is a great spot to relax, and the nearby diner and supermarket are convenient amenities.

Felt like our own home, nothing to complain about.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights on our way back to the UK for Christmas. The hotel is fun, funky, and extremely clean. The staff are amazing and make you feel so welcome - they really do go out of their way to help if you need it. The room was a great size, bed was big & super comfy, and it had everything we needed. The hotel does not do food, which for us was perfect as you can bring in your own food and drink and as the hotel has such cool communal areas, it's like being in your own private bar! The outside area has fire pits and makes for a very cool area to hang out. There were a number of families there and they too found the food thing great - a few of us ordered pizza in one night when it was raining. They also have a great games room with table tennis, a pool table, etc. Location wise, we couldn't have asked for better. It is right next to Fisherman's Wharf, close to all the shops and local restaurants, and a 5-minute walk along the waterfront to the ferry for Alcatraz. Honestly, cannot recommend this place enough. Thanks for a great stay, guys!

Strongly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right by PIER39 in the wharf area. It's directly at the Pier 39, so very close to everything on the Wharf. The staff provides great service and the basic amenities are all there. We had a room with a view and it was amazing, even though it was a bit noisy. The beds were comfortable and the view was good, despite the outdated Ikea products. Breakfast was not included, but overall, this hotel offers great value for money.

This hotel is perfectly located directly across the pier in the heart of the Wharf area. The rooms with balconies offer a nice view of Alcatraz and the shore. The staff and service provided are lovely and basic amenities are good.
