During my trip, I stayed at Hotel Zephyr San Francisco for transit and found it to be conveniently located just 4.1 km from Cal 4th & King Street. the hotel is only 25 km away from San Francisco International, making it an ideal stopover for travelers needing easy access to transportation hubs.

The only minor downside I experienced during my stay was the inability to control the room temperature, which left me waking up sweating every night. However, this was a slight inconvenience and did not detract from the overall convenience of the hotel's location and amenities.

I always stay at this hotel. The staff helped me with early check-in, which I appreciate. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, 24-hour security, game room, and a fitness centre. I'm coming back for Christmas.

Despite the inland breeze in our room's hallway creating a spooky door scene, the Zephyr's charm still shines.

The hotel's nautical-themed decor, with its maritime accents and creative use of old shipping containers, brought a charming and cozy atmosphere to the entire property. The public areas, including the outdoor courtyard, were adorned with unique furnishings made from reclaimed materials, making it a delightful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. , the hotel's close proximity to various attractions like Pier 39 and the National Maritime Museum made it very accessible for senior people, allowing for a leisurely exploration of San Francisco's waterfront.

I would hope for more assistance from the children of the staff in aiding senior guests with navigating the long corridors to the rooms, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable vacation experience for elderly visitors.

The centerpiece feature of this hotel is its gargantuan outdoor lounge, "The Yard." I felt like a kid again, challenging my friends to oversized Connect Four and Jenga, surrounded by fire pits and a quirky water fountain. It was like stepping into a larger-than-life amusement park for adults!

The indoor game room had everything - pool, ping pong, and a shufflepuck table. The outdoor courtyard and indoor games room were lit - we had a blast playing life-size Connect Four and Gigantic Jenga. Plus, we got on a double decker bus tour and explored the city!

The only thing we would've loved is a lively outdoor area with music and a small dance floor.

The views from my room at Hotel Zephyr were simply breathtaking, with glimpses of the San Francisco Bay that left me in awe. The eclectic outdoor lounge was a fantastic place to unwind and take in the city's vibrant energy. I also appreciated the whimsical sense of fun throughout the hotel, adding a unique touch to my stay.

The hotel's staff communication left a lot to be desired.

We had a blast playing pool, ping pong, and shufflepuck. The chairs made out of skateboards added a cool touch to the industrial-style game room. We also enjoyed exploring the area for water adventures like boat tours and segway rentals.

My kids wished for more variety in the game selection.

The value we got for our money was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, within walking distance of Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

The breakfast options could be improved with more affordable choices.

I had a fantastic stay at this place! The location was superb, right at the boardwalk. I loved being directly across the pier, it made exploring so convenient. The room amenities were great, with a cozy sitting area and a safe for my belongings. The hotel staff seemed friendly and the service was top-notch. I also enjoyed the cool art and designs throughout the hotel, it added to the overall fun and creative atmosphere. The outside area with games and seating was a perfect spot for parents to relax while the kids played.
