Noise levels could be quite disruptive, especially from street activity. Lower floors might cause city dwellers to lose sleep due to constant sounds from the area.

The staff provided great service, especially one person who went out of their way to assist us. Dining at Wolfgang's was a highlight, with a food selection that kept us satisfied. Overall, the experience reminded me of my travels in Europe, where hospitality is cherished.

My experience at The Gotham Hotel was far from enjoyable. The noise from the bustling streets kept me awake throughout my stay. the windows surely weren't sound-proofed. To top it all, the hot water situation was a real concern. it came out in an unsightly color, which added to the discomfort. Overall, I felt let down by the facilities and the lack of responsiveness from the staff.

Street-facing rooms are unbearably noisy!!! A balcony that’s just an air conditioning unit box isn’t worth paying extra for!!! The coffee machine comes with an insultingly low pod allowance!!! They should fix the outdated decor and improve the missing amenities!!!

Just a fine choice for a brief sojourn in New York with very good value for money. The room was large, and every staff member was friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed. Make sure to check out the nearby restaurants for great food options.

The staff was incredibly engaging. the doorman radiated warmth, making every guest feel valued. Prompt housekeeping services ensured we returned to a tidy room, and delicious coffee from Greggory's next door made mornings even better. Though the location was perfect for exploring, noise from the busy street was noticeable at times.

the reading room bar has a super friendly bartender. but the room lighting was limited.

Great little cozy balcony, super clean room with a rainfall shower. Staff were awesome and super chill. Perfect spot for exploring NYC and literally just a block from Little Brazil. Totally worth it!

I paid for an upgrade only to find myself on a floor with smoking balconies—horrible for my allergies!!! Also, the lack of amenities is a major letdown—no restrooms in the lobby and coffee pods have to be requested daily!!!

Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

I enjoyed the fantastic views from my Midtown Balcony King room, but the noise from nearby rooms was disruptive. The thin walls were quite bothersome. Make sure to ask for a quiet room and double-check the shower setup—it was oddly placed! Overall, a fair experience.

I had an amazing 1-night stay with a stunning skyline king terrace room! Loved the welcome champagne and chocolate. just wished for more coffee pods. Definitely returning!
