Expect more from room amenities, some bathrooms lack modern space, food options could improve!!! Disappointing that lobster tail was inedible after paying $79. No compensation offered!!! Parking could use clearer guidelines!!!

The view from my Premium King Room with Resort View was absolutely stunning and really enhanced my stay. I appreciated the historic charm of the hotel and found the live music in the lobby to be a lovely touch for relaxation after a day of exploring. Being a group visiting during Christmas added to the wonderful atmosphere, even though some traditional offerings were limited due to recovery efforts. I'd highly recommend dining at Vinnies for a great family meal.

the buffet breakfast at blue ridge is huge and delicious but you can’t order from a menu. the parking staff could be a bit overly harsh, making it uncomfortable during check-in.

The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, perfect for a relaxing evening. The common areas were so crowded it was hard to find a seat. I enjoyed walking tours nearby, which offered beautiful scenery. Dining was so-so, with some meals underwhelming. I'd recommend trying the tennis court for some fun outdoor activity.

Additionally, navigating the older section of the hotel came with challenges, such as a small closet and an awkward step into the bathroom, which could be difficult for seniors. Overall, the historic charm and attentive staff made for a memorable experience.

I enjoyed the build your own shrimp and grits at the breakfast buffet. The food was nourishing, and I appreciated the variety offered. I had a good time experiencing the spa after a day of exploring the area. The staff at the spa was attentive and the environment was relaxing. The spa's grotto pools were a highlight and truly relaxing. However, the food was overpriced and disappointing, and the views were stunning but the room didn't match the elegance in the photos. Not sure I'd revisit soon.

We enjoyed delicious meals at the Vue restaurant, where both service and cuisine were top-notch. After a long day, we appreciated the live music in the lobby. Just a note, check the pool access details in advance, as some areas require reservations.
