I had a fabulous 3-night stay at Wildwood On The Lake in Lake Placid. The room featured a cozy fireplace that was perfect for warming up after a day in the cold. The friendly hosts made us feel right at home, and we enjoyed the beautiful views from our balcony. Plus, the heated indoor pool was a refreshing way to relax after our outdoor adventures.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable.

The lakeside view was simply stunning! Paddleboard and kayak rentals allowed us to fully embrace the beautiful surroundings.

Yet, the decor felt outdated, and the hot tub was lukewarm at best, leaving us disappointed after a long day out.

i was absolutely shocked that the pool wasn’t open, which is just splendid for a relaxing getaway. additionally, the shower drain was clogged—how quaint! i almost left a good review, but like a welcome gift or upgrade would’ve been nice considering my expectations. such a charm, really.

Loved the indoor and outdoor pools. Free use of kayaks! Enjoyed chilling by the fire pit with friends at night.

Felt safe, no reason to complain.
