We had an amazing stay at this backpacker hostel. The staff were incredibly friendly and always available to help or just have a chat. Bubbles and co. really put a smile on our faces. The kitchen was well-equipped, even providing herbs and spices. The dorm beds were comfortable and clean. We especially loved the outdoor terrace with its tables, chairs, and hammocks, a perfect place to relax. This has been one of our favorite hostel experiences during our 3.5 months of travel!

I recently stayed at a great hostel that had everything I needed for exploring the area. The rooms and communal areas were clean and spacious, and I especially loved the outdoor area with hammocks where I could relax at the end of the day. The staff at Yellow Belly Backpackers were incredibly friendly and helpful, making it easy to organize cave tours and even do laundry. The value for money was amazing, and I appreciated all the small touches like night lights and plugs by every bed, as well as air fresheners in the bathrooms. The location was also fantastic, with beautiful views from the common area and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy downtown area. it was a wonderful experience.

They helped me find last-minute tour options and even fixed my phone when it got wet. the common areas were spacious and fun, perfect for meeting new people. the hostel was conveniently located near popular attractions and plenty of restaurants and bars.

The only issue I had was with the multiple fans in the dorm room. While it was nice to have individual fans for each bed, when more than one was turned on, it became quite noisy and made it difficult to sleep.

They had great knowledge about the area and were happy to provide recommendations. the hostel itself was clean and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and communal areas. the outdoor terrace was a great place to relax, and the well-stocked kitchen made it easy to cook meals. the location was also a plus, with easy access to nearby attractions for nature enthusiasts and history buffs.

The rooms lacked proper ventilation, which made them hot and stuffy even with the fans provided. While the walk into town wasn't too far, it would have been more convenient to have everything within closer proximity.

I recently stayed at this awesome hostel for a few days. The owner is really friendly and made sure everyone had a great time. He even took us to the river one day for a swim! The hostel itself is fantastic with spacious common areas, a well-equipped kitchen, and comfy dorms. They provide free drinking water and coffee in the mornings too. The staff, Jess and Bubbles, were super helpful and went above and beyond to assist me with everything I needed.

The staff at the hostel were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist me when my tour got cancelled last minute, finding me another company to go with. They also helped fix my phone with some rice after it got a bit wet. Additionally, the hostel is located near some great attractions, including Cahal Pech ruins, supermarkets, and a few good restaurants and bars.

While the hostel was clean and the dorms spacious, the beds were not very comfortable. Additionally, the location of the hostel required a 10-15 minute walk up and down a steep hill to reach the city center, which could be tiring, especially in the hot sun.
