Our room at Hotel Blaue Gams ***S was beautifully renovated and located at the very top of the stairs, providing a treat for the eyes. The restaurant served delicious dinner and breakfast options, with a good selection to choose from. The hotel also had a wonderful view of the mountains and the nearby Ettal Abbey. Despite a few drawbacks, overall I would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming hotel nestled on top of a hill. The location was ideal, with a great selection of local beers and an early dinner option for those evenings when we wanted to eat in. The sauna and steam room were a wonderful way to relax after touring the area, and the relaxation lounge provided the perfect retreat. Our room was cozy and clean, with a breathtaking view of the mountains. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the included breakfast was delicious. The hotel also had a restaurant with excellent dinner options.

There were some instances of lack of flexibility in room allocation.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the beautiful village of Ettal. The location, nestled between the mountains, offers stunning views of the basilica and monastery. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of a balcony facing the monastery - a perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring our stay was enjoyable from start to finish. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing, providing a delicious start to the day.

This hotel is in a stunning location, on top of a hill, overlooking the picturesque village below. The rooms are nice, roomy and clean, with a balcony offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The breakfast served is delicious and plentiful, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful, making sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. There is also an awesome hiking trail behind the hotel for nature enthusiasts to enjoy.

We had a fantastic New Year's celebration, with complimentary champagne and fireworks. the hotel is very well situated for exploring the beautiful surrounding area. the breakfast was delicious, with a great selection of hot and cold dishes.

The shower was a little outdated and the water wasn't consistently warm. We also found the Wi-Fi to be a bit spotty in our room, but it was better in the public areas.
