I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful ryokan in the tranquil mountains. The room was gorgeous with its own spring-fed pool and a small garden. I loved wearing the traditional kimono and enjoying the indoor pool before indulging in a sumptuous Japanese feast. The hostess made the experience truly special. The breakfast was equally impressive. Despite some minor drawbacks, I would highly recommend this ryokan for a traditional Japanese experience. I had an amazing time and would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location, right next to the Open Air Museum, was perfect, and the traditional multi-course meals were absolutely delicious. Celebrating the new year at a traditional Japanese inn was amazing. the architecture and views were breathtaking and made us feel like we were transported to another time. the traditional clothing provided to guests was a nice touch and added to the cultural experience. We also appreciated the helpful staff and the convenient location close to hot springs.

The bed, unfortunately, was not very comfortable and made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. the toilet room had a noticeable odor that was a bit unpleasant.

Conveniently located near Gora Station with complimentary car service. Beautifully designed with a blend of traditional and modern elements. Attentive, English-speaking staff provide excellent service. The rooms are extraordinary, with comfortable beds and thoughtful amenities. Delicious food, including a Wagyu beef option and a variety of breakfast choices.

The highlight was the private Hot Spring Spa, just down the hall from my room, which was a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The assigned room attendant was always there to assist with anything I needed and served delicious meals in-room. I also appreciated the hotel's constant updates on our train schedule, which proved invaluable when unexpected changes occurred.
