I had a truly unique and fascinating stay at this hotel in the heart of the city. The building itself used to be the palace of the viceking of Brasil, so you can imagine the rich history and charm that surrounds you. Each room has a different design, so it's definitely not your typical chain hotel experience. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location is unbeatable, just a few steps away from everything. And let's not forget about the fabulous breakfast, served in beautiful rooms. I highly recommend this hotel for those looking for an extravagant and unforgettable experience.

Just stayed at this fabulous hotel for a week-long trip. The historic building was filled with charm - our room was like stepping back in time. The homemade breakfast, served in the kitchen, was delicious. They even had actors dressed as Lisbon guides during breakfast. The traditional FADA music program twice a week was a highlight. The location was perfect, right in the heart of baixa-Chiado. The famous Tram 28 stopped right outside. Excellent value for money, comfortable beds, and friendly staff.

During my Christmas stay, I really liked the live music playing during breakfast, it added a lovely ambiance to the meal. Another great aspect was the friendly and welcoming staff, they made us feel like royalty from the moment we arrived. the hotel's key location in the city was also a major advantage, making it easy for us to explore and experience all that the area had to offer.

That our room had only an internal window, which made it a bit stuffy, especially with the outside temperature being quite hot. However, there was a fan provided in the room which helped to alleviate the heat.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the city and close to all the key attractions and amenities. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any queries or requests. I also appreciated the delicious breakfast that was served every morning, it was a great way to start the day.

The room I stayed in was a bit small and the lack of sound insulation meant that noise from outside could be quite disruptive at times. Additionally, the bathroom had a slight moldy/stuffy smell which was not ideal.
