had a lovely stay in Grindelwald, but found hotel Tschuggen to be exceptional. Spectacular view from balcony, clean rooms, and friendly owner who even packed us a sandwich for our early train ride. Definitely recommend!

For the price, we got great value and a cozy room at Hotel Tschuggen in Grindelwald. The location was perfect, right on the main street and close to everything we needed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The only thing that could have been better about the breakfast was the coffee, which was a bit weak.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Switzerland and had a wonderful experience. The staff at Tschuggen were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided us with helpful hints on attractions and recommendations on restaurants in the area. The room we stayed in was perfect and had everything we needed. Additionally, the breakfast offered a delicious spread of fresh fruits, breads, eggs, coffee. I was extremely satisfied with my stay and would definitely choose to stay at Tschuggen again when I return to Switzerland.

we recently stayed in grindelwald for our honeymoon and were pleasantly surprised by our experience at tschuggen. the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable travel advice and checking hiking routes for us. the view of the mountains from our balcony was simply breathtaking, making it the perfect base for exploring the area.

Good location, walkable to First station. Split room with separating door, plenty of space. En suite shower, but some rooms may not have that. Nice breakfast, friendly staff.

Our stay at Hotel Tschuggen in Grindelwald was worth every penny. The room was clean and cozy, with a magnificent view of the Eiger from the balcony. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The only thing that could be improved in terms of breakfast selection was the bread. While the variety was nice, it would have been better if the bread was freshly baked and served whole instead of already cut and served in baskets.

The breakfast variety and taste were excellent. The staff in the breakfast room was friendly and attentive, ensuring tables were supplied with good coffee and constantly replenishing food items. The location of the hotel is perfect for accessing nearby ski resorts. The room, although small, was sufficient for our needs as we were out all day. We also appreciated the complimentary local transport pass and access to the nearby Sportzentrum.

We felt relaxed during our stay and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

They went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable stay, even giving us a ride to the train station. The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to restaurants and cable cars for day trips. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had beautiful views of the Alps. The breakfast, though limited in options, was delicious and made with care. We would definitely stay here again!
