We had a lovely view from our room, directly overlooking the river with swans, ducks, and geese. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The location at the former watermill with views of the mill stream and common was charming. The staff was friendly and accommodating, especially when we arrived late after a wedding. The restaurant served a delicious English breakfast and the bar food was excellent. The hotel also had free and secure parking. The views of the duck pond and adjacent fields were lovely.
