The rooms were starting to feel tired, with wallpaper coming off the walls and other small damages. Additionally, the breakfast had a steep price tag of $38, which didn't match the quality and value provided.

The hotel had spacious rooms, especially compared to other hotels in the city. the walk-in shower with rain shower option was a nice touch. Plus, having a bathtub was a bonus, as many other hotels in the area don't offer this. the motorized curtain/blind and lighting options in the room were also great features. In terms of location, the hotel was conveniently situated near South Street Seaport and it only took about 10 minutes to walk to the 9/11 Memorial. Having a Duane Reade drugstore across the street was also convenient for picking up snacks or any essentials.

One of the biggest concerns was the destination fee. Additionally, the information about the daily credit at the bar was not communicated effectively and was buried in a binder in the room.

The location was ideal, close to several subway stations and within walking distance of tourist attractions. I felt safe walking around the quiet neighborhood at night.
