Just a balanced option for a city holiday in Santa Cruz with fantastic value for money. Great location across from the beach.

I adored the exceptional location and friendly staff at this hotel. The vibe was top-notch with fantastic perks like free coffee, hot chocolate, snow cones, and popcorn. Parking was secure and reasonably priced. Our room had a great view, and the laundry room was convenient. However, the water temperature in the shower was difficult to regulate. It was either too hot or too cold, making it challenging for my kids. The lack of free parking and numerous stairs were minor inconveniences. Despite these issues, the hotel's charm and amenities make it a desirable place to return.

The suite was amazing with a separate King bedroom and two fold-out sofa beds in the living room. It had a full kitchen with all the essentials. The view of the wharf, Boardwalk, and Main Beach volleyball courts was stunning. I felt like a king staying there!

The only thing I didn't love was the small parking space, but it's just my personal opinion.

Location near boardwalk, restaurants, coffee bar, pool, spa. Room fit large party comfortably. Fantastic ocean view. Kitchen with full fridge and stove. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful decor of room. Huge comfortable bathroom and shower. Complimentary upgrade to beach house.

The Beach Street Inn had a great location, comfortable beds, large rooms, free parking, clean facilities. The kitchenette in our room was a bonus, and the balcony with an ocean view was a treat. The staff was accommodating and there were free amenities like coffee, hot chocolate, ice pops, and popcorn. The pool and hot tub were enjoyed by the kids.

Felt so relaxed, no reason to complain.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, just a short walk from both the wharf area and the Santa Cruz boardwalk. Being literally across the street from the beach is a huge plus as well. The attention to detail in the newly renovated rooms is exceptional, with beautiful views of the beach from the front rooms. The service provided by the staff is second to none, and the rooms are especially spacious and clean. Additionally, the breakfast from The Picnic Basket, available in room or as room service, is a delightful treat.

All in all, everything was just fine.

Excellent location, walking distance to downtown and boardwalk. Spacious and beautiful bathroom and living spaces with lots of storage. Attentive and helpful guest services. Upgrade to a room with a view is worth it. Central location across from the beach, close to stores and dining. Pool outside with fire pits is amazing. Will definitely come back.

This hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, making it easy to enjoy the boardwalk, wharf and downtown. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, especially the bathrooms with their great showers. The staff are also very friendly and attentive.

No breakfast was included, but there was a nice coffee bar available.

I had an amazing time at this hotel by the beach! The location was perfect for me, just right across the famous boardwalk. I loved the sound of the ocean waves that put me to sleep every night. The staff was really friendly, and the room amenities were fantastic. There was a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, free toiletries and a great sitting area.

The friendly and welcoming staff made our stay very pleasant, offering us complimentary coffee in the mornings and popcorn in the afternoons. the hotel's location was perfect for our beach holiday, as it was just a short walk away from the shore. We enjoyed the people watching and sunrise from the lower-level bungalows, which had a great view of all the action.

we found the nearby breakfast spot to be less than satisfactory, with slow service and low-quality food. Despite these setbacks, we still had a lovely time at the hotel and would consider returning in the future.

The location of the hotel is mind-blowing, just a few minutes walk to the beach, wharf, and boardwalk. The rooms and suites were super clean and updated, with jaw-dropping views of the ocean and wharf. The shower was amazing and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved sitting in the Adirondack chairs outside our room, soaking in the sun and enjoying the breathtaking ocean view. The hotel also had great amenities such as wi-fi, a fitness centre, outdoor swimming pool, and a jacuzzi. our stay was fantastic and we can't wait to come back!
