The restaurant at the hotel was outstanding. the food was top notch and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals there and would highly recommend dining at the restaurant during your stay. Additionally, the location of the hotel was beautiful. Situated in the middle of nowhere, it offered a peaceful and serene setting. the surrounding nature and the riverside view were absolutely stunning.

I recently stayed at Big Sur River Inn for a leisurely weekend trip. The cozy bed provided a comfortable night's sleep and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The highlight was definitely the delicious hamburger I had at the hotel restaurant. I loved the quaint "cabin in the woods" feel of the place, and the fireplace at breakfast added a nice touch. The hotel's location, surrounded by trees and next to the river, provided a relaxing atmosphere, especially when sitting on the front deck. The good-sized TV in the room with all the channels was a pleasant surprise as well.

the property was amazing, with a tranquil creek adorned with Adirondack chairs that were perfect for soaking my tired hiking feet. the beds in the remodeled cabin-style rooms were incredibly comfortable, and it was evident that the mattresses were new. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodations, despite their minimal furnishings. the pillow selection was vast, allowing for a personalized sleeping experience. there was an outdoor fire pit and a heated outdoor pool, adding to the overall charm of the location.
