Our room was surprisingly cramped, making it tough to navigate with luggage for four. The cleanliness was shocking—stained carpets, a used razor in the shower, and mystery items on the floor. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

The misleading ad promised a scenic room with a fireplace, but we overlooked a parking lot and dumpster instead. The rooms felt outdated, though the location was great and parking was easy. Breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly, especially the lovely lady managing the breakfast area. I experienced a lack of warmth from some receptionists, which dampened the mood for our anniversary celebration. Cleanliness needs attention too—bed bug issues can't be ignored. A more inviting atmosphere and better amenities could really enhance the overall experience.

The outdoor swimming pool was an absolute delight, perfect for soaking up the sun! I loved lounging on the sun loungers while sipping on a refreshing drink. The location was spot-on, making it super easy to explore nearby attractions.

During our recent stay at Greystone Lodge, we had a mixed experience. One thing we appreciated was the heating system in our room. It kept us warm and cozy during the chilly evenings, which was nice after spending long days exploring Gatlinburg. we were quite disappointed with the air conditioning unit. It emitted a musty smell whenever it was running, which was not pleasant at all. We had to constantly air out the room to try and alleviate the odor. As for the tea and coffee facilities, they were convenient to have in the room. But when I asked one of the staff members for French vanilla creamer, the response I received was rather rude, which put a damper on the service experience. The sitting area in our room was comfortable, and we enjoyed spending time there in the evenings. The patio offered a lovely view of the river, which was a highlight of our stay. It was a nice spot to relax and take in the surroundings. In terms of amenities, the room lacked certain essentials like additional hooks or bars in the bathroom to hang towels. This made it inconvenient for us when showering. The free toiletries provided were standard, nothing exceptional but they served their purpose. The flat-screen TV was a good addition for entertainment, although we didn't spend much time watching it. Housekeeping did a decent job of keeping the room clean, but there were areas that seemed a bit neglected, such as the carpeted floor which appeared worn and in need of a deep clean. One area that stood out was the friendly staff at the hotel. They were welcoming and helpful, which made our interactions pleasant. our stay at Greystone Lodge had its ups and downs.

While the staff was generally friendly, one front desk worker’s aloof demeanor was unexpected. The room had a musty odor and the furniture felt dated. Noise from neighboring rooms was intrusive at night, making restful sleep challenging. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, yet the air conditioning unit was quite loud. Great value and a solid location, but improvements are needed in service and room quality.

The King Suite Riverview, room , was comfortable with a nice, cozy bed. The oversized vanity was perfect for toiletries, but the noise from the exit door to the parking area was disruptive and constant throughout the night. Temperature control worked well, keeping the room pleasant. Despite a dry river view, the space felt inviting. the exhaust fan from the neighboring hotel made the balcony unusable. The cleanliness was commendable, and housekeeping staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast had limited seating and chaotic atmosphere, but the self-serve options were satisfactory for quick bites.

Great location for exploring downtown Gatlinburg

Greystone Lodge On the River offers a fantastic location, just steps away from attractions like Ripley’s Aquarium. Comfortable rooms and an ample supply of pillows made our stay pleasant. The breakfast was enjoyable, especially the biscuits and gravy, but navigating parking could be a bit challenging.

During my Christmas stay, I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The customer service was top, notch, from check, in to the entire stay. The room was fresh and spotless, offering a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. Plus, the location was ideal , within walking distance to various restaurants and attractions on the strip. the free breakfast, featuring eggs and biscuits, was a nice touch that started each day off right.

the bathroom size and bugs may vary based on the room location. Another issue was the lack of clear information about the one, car, per, room rule, causing a slight inconvenience for those with multiple vehicles.

Location is awesome. You can walk to everything, no need for a car. The room had a microwave, fridge, and nice balcony with a great river view. Staff was friendly and quick to help with room change. The fitness center was nice too. But the beds? Super uncomfortable and squeaky. That part was a bummer.
