Doubletree By Hilton Charlotte City Center offers a prime location just a short walk from the Spectrum Center, making it ideal for concert-goers. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, though noise from nearby nightlife can be disruptive.

Super close to the Spectrum Center which was perfect for the Hornets game! The room was super clean and comfy with good amenities, like a minibar and flat-screen TV. Loved the breakfast buffet and the hotel restaurant. Staff was friendly and helpful even with a busy crowd. Easy access to restaurants and the transit center.

Staff interaction was strong. Clarence at the front desk was exceptional, ensuring my room's location was quiet for work. The warm cookie was a nice touch. Rooms were clean and the size of the TV was enjoyable. the street noise was unbearable. It persisted well into the early hours, making sleep nearly impossible. The lack of police response is concerning. Also troubling was the unexpected parking fee and poor communication about it. The gym was unavailable, and my room had thin walls with unaddressed maintenance issues. a mix of great staff and disappointing noise management. I won't return anytime soon.

Checking in was a nightmare! The staff couldn’t get us into our room due to a system crash, and we were locked out later that evening. Seriously, they need a backup plan for these situations!

The noise levels at night were disruptive, with a loud HVAC blower and various sounds coming from the building. Additionally, the lack of proper communication and accommodation for specific room requests was disappointing.

The location was perfect; I walked everywhere in under a mile! My room was clean, comfy, and that shower? Huge! The staff was incredibly friendly, truly making me feel like a cherished guest.

The hotel is ideally situated just a short stroll away from popular spots like the Spectrum Center and Discovery Place Science, making it easy to explore the city and soak in the vibrant atmosphere, while also being close to multiple dining options like SOHO Bistro and Fuel Pizza; my room was clean and the staff accommodating, but the parking garage could definitely use a more convenient connection to the lobby.

The bed was comfy, providing a good night's sleep despite noise disturbances from adjacent rooms. Temperature control worked well, keeping the room comfortable. the bathroom layout was awkward; the sink outside made it inconvenient for two people. The tub showed signs of wear, and the dim lighting wasn’t ideal. Cleanliness was evident throughout. I requested a down-free room, but the pillows contained down, which was concerning. There was also a lack of soundproofing, leading to disturbances during the night. Lastly, the absence of a pool was disappointing for our planned stay.

During my stay at Doubletree By Hilton Charlotte City Center, I enjoyed the convenient downtown location and friendly staff. However, the noise from the nearby road and ongoing construction was disruptive. I appreciated the valet service and excellent breakfast chef. A solid choice for exploring Charlotte.
