i previously stayed in cortez, but this time holiday inn express truly exceeded my expectations. the kids loved the unique bunk bed setup, and the breakfast was outstanding, offering a great variety. the staff's attentiveness made our longer stay feel very comfortable and welcoming.

the indoor pool area had a strong chlorine smell.

What a grand spot! The room was so clean and comfy, and that breakfast spread was simply mighty, especially those cinnamon rolls! The only drawback was the noise from the hallway, but sure, I slept like a baby otherwise!

It was just a proper fit for a quick break in Cortez and great for the money. The staff readily agreed to extend our check-out time by two hours, which was super helpful for our plans. Make sure to ask about check-out flexibility if you're in a rush!

i absolutely cannot believe the lack of attention given to cleanliness, as we found hair in the bathtub. also, who only gives two rolls of toilet paper for six people? a complimentary upgrade woudl ve been nice after such inconvenience. i almost thought about recommending this hotel, but those glaring issues left me seething instead.

Additionally, there were several sinkholes in the floor, making it feel unsafe. I also noticed that the overall appearance of the hotel was a bit outdated, and parking was quite confusing due to a lack of clear signage.

The breakfast was top-notch! We loved the variety—bacon, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy were a hit. The bunk room was perfect for our family, spacious and comfy! Plus, being just a short drive from Mesa Verde was a dreamy bonus.

Man, the views from my room were stunning—like, proper koppie vibes! That bed was so lekker comfy, I could’ve slept for days. The staff were super chill and helped me out when I needed it.

Only downside, the thin walls meant I could hear my neighbors' loud chats at times, bit of a bummer.

We stayed in a King Suite, Non-Smoking. Loved the bunk beds for kids, PS3, and all the goodies. The room had a microwave, refrigerator, and a nice flat-screen TV to chill. Plus, the indoor pool was open, and breakfast was awesome with eggs and bacon. Super comfy beds, clean and spacious.

Just a heads up, the omelettes at breakfast could be better. They weren't the best I've had, but everything else made up for it.
