I had a lovely 2-night stay! The place was big, warm, and clean, perfect for dodging winter chills. I even spotted some wildlife around—adorable little critters roaming about!

However, I found the hot water situation a bit dodgy—was my shower auditioning for a cold plunge? Plus, a missing second lock on the door made me feel like I was on a sitcom's set!

K Bar S Lodge felt like a cherished escape, with deer grazing nearby and a delightful breakfast spread featuring waffles and scrambled eggs. The staff treated us like family, adding to the warmth of our stay.

However, our room didn't face the iconic mountain view, so I recommend asking for an even-numbered room. The fitness center was quite small, which was a bit of a letdown for our active family.

We had a great view from our room. the breakfast was really good, with lots of tasty choices, and we loved hangin out outside with a fire pit at night. the staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome every day. we even spotted some deer while chillin outside, which was so cool!

only downsides were that the wifi was kinda slow and the bathroom could use some updating.

Overall, it was a decent experience, though the access to nearby attractions without a car was challenging.

My wife says that the parking situation could use improvement for families with little ones.

k bar s lodge is super nice! the location is quiet and scenic. The grounds are really pretty. our room had a balcony with a sweet view of the trees and distant mountains. breakfast was included and it was tasty, served in a chill glass building. the staff were super friendly and helpful, even when things got crazy with weather and stuff!
