The atmosphere at the hotel was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The casino and restaurant were enjoyable, and our hotel room was well-maintained and comfortable.

The location was unbeatable, just a short drive from the main road into downtown. We could easily walk to Ford Field, where we attended a bowl game, feeling safe the entire time. The room was absolutely amazing, with comfortable beds and a luxurious bathroom. The double sinks and multiple showerheads made us feel pampered. The only downside was the casino, where I didn't have much luck with the slot machines. But overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent room and convenient location.

I recently stayed at MGM Grand in Detroit for a one-night getaway. The bathroom was the highlight, with dual shower heads that made showering with my partner fun and easy. The coffee bar in the lobby was fantastic, and the staff was very polite. The scale of the hotel felt comforting and secure, with security guards at the entrance to the rooms and designated lanes for pickup/drop off. This hotel truly treats you like royalty, and the spacious room and comfy bed made for an excellent stay.

The rain shower in the bathroom was amazing, providing a refreshing and invigorating experience. the spaciousness of the bathroom was also a plus, allowing for easy movement and comfort. Additionally, the comfortable beds and ample sitting area in the room made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. the lobby's living room was a beautiful space, and the complimentary coffee and cookies throughout the day were a delightful treat. the staff at the hotel were professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

One aspect that could be improved upon is the smokiness of the casino. It would be great if there was an expanded nonsmoking area to cater to those who prefer a smoke-free environment.

Free room upgrade: I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade during my business trip. It made my stay even more enjoyable. Convenient location: the hotel is located within walking distance of major venues, making it a great choice if you're attending a game or concert. it's easily accessible from the highway and close to the Canada-US border. - Quiet rooms: I stayed on the 15th floor and was impressed by how quiet the room was. I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

Smoking casino: As a non-smoker, the smoking allowed in the casino area was a bit of a turn-off for me. However, I didn't plan on visiting the casino, so it didn't impact my overall experience.

Our stay at Mgm Grand was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, the valet service was exceptional. The room had a stunning city view and was truly outstanding. The casino offered great entertainment, and the food options were outstanding. Tap had the best square Detroit-style pizza my wife has ever had, and Wolfgang Puck Steak was worth every penny. The service throughout the hotel was top-notch, with friendly staff that went above and beyond. a two thumbs up experience!

Had an amazing New Year experience! the staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary champagne was a nice touch and the breakfast spread was delicious. the location was perfect, just a few steps away from major attractions and lively nightlife. Plus, the view was breathtaking!

The room felt small and outdated. the heating barely worked and the bathroom was not as clean as I expected.

The personnel were professional and attentive. Excellent dinner at Wolfgang Puck. King room was spacious with a huge bathroom. Outstanding city view and valet service. Great food options and incredibly nice service throughout.

The location was perfect for me as I had concert tickets and it was within walking distance to the venue. The staff at the on-site restaurant were very kind and understanding about some issues we had during check-in.

Had a fantastic time gambling at the MGM Grand. Although we lost our money, we enjoyed the comps on our card, which allowed us to indulge in delicious food at the Detroit Wing Company. The garlic Parmesan fries and chicken strips were served hot and tasty, and the seating in the food court was ample. We also appreciated the no smoking policy in the food area and the opportunity to get free fountain drinks. I'll recommend this hotel for a fun time.
