The hotel was in a great location, close to the campus and within walking distance to a few restaurants. the rooms were nicely updated and spacious, with large bathrooms. the hotel also had a bar, restaurant, fitness center, and outdoor pool, providing plenty of options for guests to relax and enjoy their stay.

There were a few aspects that I didn't enjoy about my experience. there was a water service scheduled during my stay that affected the entire hotel, and I wish I was informed about it when making my reservation.

The Overton feels like home, with great staff, spacious and clean rooms, and comfortable beds. The location is perfect, close to Texas Tech campus and all our favorite spots in Lubbock. The restaurant and concierge lounge are nice additions, and sitting by the fire pits is cozy.

For us, it was ideal.

The central location makes it easy to access the nearby event venue, a variety of fast food restaurants, and the airport shuttle available at the front desk. The clean rooms have updated electronic plugs, while the bathroom boasts a great shower. The friendly staff ensures attentive service, and breakfast options are extensive with many choices to choose from. The hotel has a great view of the surrounding area.

The hotel's elegance and classy ambiance, as well as the live music in the bar area, really set it apart from other local hotels. The beautiful and modern decor, along with the fantastic food and service, made my stay here truly enjoyable.

I was pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel, as it was close to my grandson's college at Texas Tech. The staff at the hotel were excellent and provided great service. I also enjoyed the cool outdoor restaurant vibe and live music. The room and lobby were very attractive, creating a nice ambiance.

There were a few drawbacks during my stay. The room air conditioner was broken, which made the room extremely hot upon arrival.

The front desk experience during check, in was not satisfactory. The staff seemed disinterested and unprofessional, giving off a negative impression.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and loved it! The hotel is situated in a perfect location close to Texas Tech and restaurants in the area. Rooms are well-designed with nice views and basic amenities from toothbrush to super soft towels. The executive desk was extremely large suitable for work. Breakfast was included, and the chef cooking omelets made it even more special.

All was great, no major complains obtained.

We always feel like we've come home when we step inside The Overton. It makes a nice place to "come home to" after a long drive. Staff is great here, always willing to help. Rooms are usually spacious and clean. Beds are comfortable. Restaurant is nice. Location is perfect, so close to campus and to every place we like to go during our visit. The bed had five pillows, some softer than others. nice to have a choice.

The meals at the on-site restaurant were delicious and filling, and we loved the breakfast buffet with the omelet bar. The hotel provided complimentary water, which was a bonus for us. The view of the Texas Tech football stadium and practice fields was great.

We had an amazing time at the Overton! The location was perfect, right across from the campus and within walking distance of the football stadium. The lobby and common areas had a really cool western vibe, and the staff were all super friendly. The best part was the two ladies at the bar, they absolutely made our trip. Despite a packed bar and a big party going on, they provided exceptional customer service, serving drinks with a smile and lightning-fast speed. They knew their tequila and we ended up taking shots with them. These girls worked hard and dealt with some rude young partygoers, but they maintained their professionalism. They really deserve a raise or bonus for their outstanding service.
