The breakfast at The Riu was a feast fit for a king, with fresh fruit galore and delightful smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. The hotel's prime location near Times Square and attentive staff made our stay unforgettable. The nearby dining options like Bubba Gump Shrimp Co and Becco added an extra dash of flavor to our foodie escapades.

Missing coffee stations in the room and scarce ice machines made us trek for our caffeine fix and chill. The wall hair dryer was a flop for styling, and a leaky shower meant DIY towel solutions.

The staff at the hotel were super friendly, and they had hand sanitizer stations everywhere, which was great. The breakfast was superb with a good selection of food, coffee, and choices. The only downside was a minor issue with the bathroom door not providing enough privacy, but it didn't really affect our overall awesome experience 💫.

After a long day of meetings, it was a delight to unwind and keep up with my fitness routine. The well-equipped gym provided me with a satisfying opportunity to exercise, ensuring that my stay was not only comfortable but also invigorating.

Stepping into the lobby felt welcoming. The rooms, while not exceptional, served their purpose adequately. Convenient location near Broadway and Times Square with good dining options nearby. The staff, particularly the Bellboys, were attentive and helpful. Despite some issues with breakfast queues, the food was excellent and the hotel's central location would make me consider staying here again, although I would prefer a room with more space for three people.

The 7 train was a breeze to Queens, where Long Island City amazed me. The property was a great base for diving into NYC life. The more than 600 rooms were like a home away from home. The staff’s 60 years of expertise shone through. Surrounded by iconic sites, I explored it all. The amenities were top-notch, with the fitness center being a highlight. Check out the Theater Buffet—it's a must! Can't wait to go back for the free breakfast buffet and urban tourism experience.

My recent stay at this hotel was fantastic! the room service was top-notch, with impeccable housekeeping keeping everything clean and tidy. the staff, especially at the bell desk, were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. the continental breakfast offered numerous eating options that were included in the rate, ensuring a great start to the day. the bar/lounge area was a perfect place to unwind, and the paid breakfast was worth every penny. the location was excellent, being close to all tourist sites and within walking distance of many attractions, making it convenient to explore the city.

It's so close to all the Broadway shows - we literally rolled out of bed and were at the theatres. Plus, we caught a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, which was insane! The breakfast buffet was top-notch, kept us fueled for all the sightseeing and partying.

Just wish there was a cool rooftop bar or club in the hotel for some late-night fun after all the Broadway and game action!

Loved exploring the fashionable spots in Queens & Brooklyn. The hotel's amenities were fantastic, especially the gym and Wi-Fi. Being a preferential guest made me feel oh-so-special.

Couldn't help but enjoy showing off in the bathroom due to the amazing frosted glass wall design. So much privacy, I felt like a superstar.

During my stay at Riu Plaza, the hotel's prime location allowed me to easily access the Majestic Theater, Broadway, and Times Square within a 10-minute walk. The room was comfortable and cozy, with the bed made up every day, complemented by a nice touch of color and offering stunning views of the city, adding an extra touch of warmth in the winter.

The front desk staff lacked knowledge on hotel policies and the room's position was not to my liking, which somewhat affected the overall experience.
