The location is convenient; just two blocks from the strip with a free trolley stop right out front. The pools were a highlight—outdoor and indoor options kept the kids entertained, rain or shine. Staff interactions were consistently pleasant. the room’s comfort needs serious attention. The mattress felt unwelcoming, and the pillows were misleadingly fluffy, leading to disrupted sleep. Cleanliness was acceptable, but maintenance issues were apparent. Water rust upon turning on the faucet and continuous dripping from gutters create an unappealing atmosphere. A thorough update and better communication could elevate the experience significantly.

Room had a musty smell and felt damp. The staff was really friendly and helpful, plus the mini golf nearby was fun.

The room was an older style, generally clean, but in need of updates. The AC worked exceptionally well, keeping the room comfortable despite the inconsistent water temperature in the shower. we struggled with a significant gap under the door, which allowed light and noise to seep in. The fireplace initially provided heat but failed later in our stay. Staff response was prompt and friendly, addressing our concerns quickly. the pet-friendly room had a lingering odor that needed attention.

The indoor pool is heated and the kiddy area is a hit with little ones. The location is chill, just a short walk to the main strip. I loved having a hot tub to unwind after a long day!

Hot water was a no-show during late hours.

The rooms are spacious, and ours had a cozy fireplace & jacuzzi—perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff is incredibly nice, always ready to help with anything we needed, and there’s a handy shuttle right outside!

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I loved lounging on the balcony with two rocking chairs, listening to the creek flow by! The pools were fantastic, especially the indoor one after a long day of exploring. And can we talk about the breakfast? Their biscuits and gravy are a must-try!

The balcony facing the creek was small, providing standing room only, which was a bit disappointing for enjoying the view. small centipedes were crawling around the room, which was not pleasant. The lack of a microwave in the room was inconvenient, although there was one available for use in the lobby. the restaurant at the hotel offered a nice variety of breakfast and lunch options, and the pools were enjoyable. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the shops at Gatlinburg. The staff was friendly and helpful, which enhanced our overall experience. Parking was a major issue for many guests, especially on busy nights, as it was challenging to find a spot close to the hotel room. The construction behind the hotel could be disturbing for some guests, although it seemed to be nearing completion. Despite these inconveniences, the staff remained friendly and the presence of a restaurant on-site was convenient. our stay at Sidney James Mountain had its ups and downs. While there were some issues with cleanliness and amenities, the friendly staff and convenient location somewhat made up for it.

Perfectly situated for endless Gatlinburg adventures and strolls

We had an amazing time thanks to how close everything was, with the main strip just a 20-minute walk away, making it super easy to explore restaurants, attractions, and the beautiful scenery of the Smoky Mountains at our own pace while enjoying the lovely river view from our balcony; the staff was exceptionally friendly and always ready to help, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and the hotel had great amenities like three pools and a cafe for delicious meals, although there were some minor issues like the shower pressure and seating options that could be improved.

The creekside jacuzzi suite was a dream, and the indoor pool was a nice touch. Despite a few minor hiccups, the staff was accommodating. Overall, a lovely experience with great amenities and a convenient location.
