As a frequent traveler, I often find myself in need of convenient accommodations during layovers, and The Standard High Line provided just that. Situated just 20 km away from LaGuardia airport, the location was ideal for a quick stopover in New York City. The proximity to the High Line offered a refreshing outdoor escape with stunning views of the river and city, allowing me to relax and rejuvenate before continuing my journey.

The check-in process at The Standard High Line was a bit of a letdown as my room was not ready at the promised time, resulting in a two-hour wait. This minor inconvenience was compounded by the lack of hotel resident privileges for accessing the rooftop bar, leading to long queues on the street.

The stunning views of Manhattan Downtown from the hotel were truly breathtaking, and being in the heart of the trendy meatpacking district was a great experience. The hotel's proximity to the Highline offered us a delightful opportunity to explore the city on foot, and the vibrant atmosphere was perfect for our adventurous spirits.

In my wife's opinion, the hotel could enhance the family experience by offering more children-friendly activities.

The Standard High Line offers a cozy room with simple but cool design details, making it a comfortable stay. The location, just 150 meters from the High Line, is fantastic for leisurely walks and enjoying the city views.

The reception area really needs rethinking, as the seating arrangement and lighting can make the experience uncomfortable. It can be challenging to navigate the narrow corridor to the lift area due to the dark lighting and mirrored walls, which may not be suitable for those uncomfortable in confined spaces.

I chose this hotel for a team retreat as it offers excellent event and meeting facilities that cater to both work and play. The staff was attentive and the location in the vibrant Meat Packing District provided a refreshing atmosphere for our team activities.

One service that I missed for work was a dedicated business center with printing and copying facilities, which would have been convenient for our team meetings and presentations.

We had a great time exploring Chelsea and the nearby areas during our stay at The Standard. The hotel had a cool and funky vibe with plenty of nice touches. The room design was awesome, complete with a super cool shower/tub. The views from the big windows were legit and the Bluetooth speaker provided some fun entertainment. The staff was pleasant and the Top of the Standard bar was really nice too.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel in a fabulous area. The location couldn't have been better, as it was right in the center of the Meat Packing district. There were so many famous restaurants within walking distance, making it a food lover's paradise. The staff at this place went above and beyond to ensure I had a fantastic stay. The service was impeccable, from room service to housekeeping. The room itself was beautifully furnished and had all the amenities I could ask for, including a bathtub and a comfortable sitting area. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected throughout my stay. The best part was the staff's attention to detail. They made efforts to remember my name and checked in to see how I was doing. Especially Chris, the manager, who was an absolute pleasure to interact with.

The only recommendation I have for this hotel is that it's a must for family and friends looking for a memorable stay.

The brand new, modern and clean hotel in West Village offers excellent location and trendy rooms. The amazing staff provided a free upgrade for our anniversary and congratulated us personally. The stunning views of the Hudson were breathtaking. The property's design and architecture were simply amazing. The helpful hosts made our stay most comfortable, and the location was great for exploring nearby attractions.

I had a wonderful stay at a hotel in a vibrant neighborhood with plenty of attractions. The views from my Deluxe Queen Room were breathtaking, especially the south views. The breakfast menu at the restaurant was fantastic, with a great variety of high-quality options.

I did encounter a drawback or two during my stay. First, the staff was not very friendly or apologetic about their mistakes.

This hotel is in the perfect location, right in the center of the Meatpacking district. You can easily walk to many famous restaurants and enjoy the awesome area. The rooms have a nice sunset view and some even boast the "best" view in the city. The staff are attentive and the service is top-notch. Plus, the basic amenities are all there, including hanging space for your clothes. And if you're looking to grab breakfast, they've got you covered at the grill.

All was just fine, no improvement needed.
