We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The location was amazing, right by the lobby, all the restaurants, lounge, and close to the boats. It made it so easy for us to stay while visiting Universal Studios. The hotel was peaceful, quiet, and had great amenities such as room service, car hire, dry cleaning, and housekeeping. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. We also had a mini-bar and a terrace to enjoy the views. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a bonus too. The bathroom was well-equipped and included free toiletries. The television, am/fm alarm clock, and telephone were all modern and easy to use. The dining options were fantastic, with a restaurant, poolside snack bar, and bar/lounge area. We especially enjoyed the special diet menus available. The staff was excellent, especially in the club level room. It was very clean and comfortable, and the club level staff provided exceptional service. They even brought our drinks and food to us without us having to leave our chair. Everyone we encountered at this hotel was friendly and helpful. We also took advantage of the leisure facilities, such as the spa & wellness center, sauna, swimming pool, outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage, steam room, and heated swimming pool. The sun loungers were great for relaxation. The hotel also had free Wi-Fi throughout the entire venue, 24-hour reception, babysitting/child services, a game room, children's play area, fitness center, golf course, and water slides. The laundry service was convenient, and the flat-screen TVs and business center were useful. The express check-in/-out saved us time, and the restaurant and coffee shop were convenient for dining options. The pet-friendly policy was a nice touch for those traveling with furry friends. we highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and provided excellent service throughout our stay. One particular situation that stood out to us was when we had a mix-up with our room. We had booked a room with two queen beds, but when we arrived, we were given a room with a king bed instead. We immediately contacted the front desk and explained the situation. The staff quickly resolved the issue and moved us to a room with two queen beds. They even went above and beyond by ensuring that our bags were promptly delivered to our new room. We appreciated their efficiency and attention to detail.

Convenient to Universal, with a small boat running every 15 min. Comfortable bed, clean room with turndown service. Nice pool, Starbucks available. Included fast pass is a big bonus. Water taxi to parks is great. Staff is helpful and attentive.

We got an amazing passholder rate on a spacious room with Mediterranean decor, a Juliet balcony overlooking the water, and an incredible view. The hotel’s location for the theme parks is very convenient, and the attention to detail is impressive. The breakfast included was delicious and had plenty of options to choose from.

I had a wonderful stay at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel. The view from my bay view king room was absolutely stunning. The boat shuttle to the Universal parks was a fun and convenient way to get there. The hotel had a number of pools, including a beach pool and a quiet pool, offering different options for relaxation. I enjoyed the evening serenades from the terrace, such a lovely touch. The room decor and quality were great, providing a comfortable stay. And the universal express pass that came with the room was a huge bonus, making the park experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The facilities were beautiful, from the stunning pools to the Italian-themed restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the convenience of the location, as the hotel was a quick 5-minute boat ride away from the parks. The water taxi service to Universal and Island of Adventure was fast and efficient. Additionally, the hotel offered a texting service that allowed me to easily communicate with the concierge. I had a personal experience where my son fell ill in the middle of the night, and within 20 minutes, a bellman drove me to a nearby pharmacy. The staff, especially Rudy, was incredibly helpful and made the entire experience worth every penny.

There were a few things that we didn't enjoy about our stay. the rooms lacked a microwave, which would have been convenient for heating up snacks or leftovers.

The newly renovated rooms were a welcome change and the staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. The free boat transportation to the parks and Citywalk was excellent, making the location perfect. The hotel grounds were clean and well-maintained, and the themed Italian village atmosphere added a nice touch. The Club Lounge provided complimentary food and drinks, making it a great option for business guests like us. The express passes included in the price were a great value and made our visit to the Universal parks even more enjoyable. The breakfast offered real porcelain and cutlery, and the absence of dogs/pets on the Club Lounge level was a relief for allergic individuals.

The pool area was relaxing and there were plenty of sun loungers to enjoy. The on-site dining options were excellent, with delicious food and a wide variety of choices. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a memorable stay.
