The beds were incredibly comfortable, just what we needed after a long day of exploring! The view was absolutely stunning from our room, making every morning feel like a dream. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home.

The location is perfect, especially if you're heading on a cruise. Super close to the Gaslamp District with loads of restaurants. Room was clean and comfy with a nice balcony. Great views of the harbor from the first tower. Staff were friendly, and they had a fitness center too!

The air conditioning was a disaster—loud and barely cooled the room. We had to keep the balcony door open just for some fresh air, which was super uncomfortable. Not what I expected!

But the amenities need attention. Had issues with room assignments and forgotten requests. Pricing for parking is excessive, and facilities lack child-friendly options. Inconsistent room quality was disappointing, especially for the price point. I appreciate the effort from some staff, like Tayla, who stepped up in a difficult situation. A more thorough management approach is required. Would I return? I’m hesitant, but there’s potential here.

Perfect spot for party animals like us with epic views of the bay and close to the Gaslamp Quarter. We hit the zoo and convention center, causing some serious mischief along the way. Such a vibe!

More dope nightlife options around the area would've taken the turn-up level up a notch for us adrenaline junkies.

Wyndham San Diego Bayside boasts an unbeatable location near major attractions and great dining options. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating during my stay. I appreciated the lovely view from my balcony and the well-maintained pool area made my visit even more enjoyable.

During my recent stay at the hotel, I appreciated the convenient location close to Petco Park and Gaslamp Quarter. The free airport shuttle service was a great perk that made our trip easier. The bay view from the room was stunning, especially for our son who enjoyed capturing images of the Naval base and the Midway carrier. The comfortable beds were a welcome respite after a day of sightseeing. However, the communication with the property before arrival was a bit challenging, and there were some minor inconveniences like the lack of a fridge in the room and the slippery pool decking.

The room was spacious and boasted a comfortable bed, perfect for a good night's sleep. Temperature control was an issue, as heating didn’t function properly and left me feeling quite chilly. The balcony view was a highlight, providing a lovely setting to watch the world go by. I appreciated the coffee maker and mini fridge, although the latter froze my items. On the downside, the noise level from outside was noticeable. The bathroom features could use an update, particularly the shower curtain, which wasn’t very effective at keeping water contained.

Excellent fit for a couple of nights in San Diego with fantastic value for money. Great location near restaurants and sights.

Beds were incredibly comfortable; however, the sliding barn door to the bathroom compromised privacy. The $25 early check-in fee caught me off guard after being assured it wouldn’t be an issue. Staff was accommodating, particularly the valets, but navigating parking was confusing and pricey at $40. The cold pool was disappointing given the promise of year-round heating. Excellent proximity to restaurants, but be prepared for pricey meal options.

The bayview from our room made the stay worthwhile.
