Very nice and clean hotel. The lack of an elevator may be challenging with heavy luggage, but the comfortable king-size bed and helpful staff made our stay delightful. I highly recommend returning for the cleanliness, location, and friendly service.

During my transit in Key West, I stayed at Douglas House, conveniently located 10 km from Key West International. The shared balcony provided a pleasant spot to enjoy a drink, and the outdoor swimming pool offered a relaxing retreat after a day of exploration.

The Wi-Fi connection was consistently unreliable, which was a minor inconvenience during my stay.

The tropical setting and the relaxing music really set the vibe here, making it a chill place to hang out. Loved the well-kept swimming pool with sun loungers and the garden area, perfect for unwinding after a day of strolling around. A water station would be a nice addition though, as the tap water had a bit of a funky taste, but nothing that could spoil the overall awesome experience! 🌴

Indulged in the freshest fish at nearby Flamingo Crossing, with mouthwatering bites at Blue Heaven. The calm atmosphere at Douglas House made unwinding a breeze. David's warm welcome and the serene pool added to the laid-back vibe.

First impression was soured by a dodgy carpet and unwelcome dog hair, but quick action turned it around. Early morning wake-up calls weren't the island norm, but the quirky charm of Key West made up for it.

The location of the hotel was excellent, as it was really close to everything. It was just a short walk to all the shops, bars, and restaurants. Everything in downtown was easily accessible from the hotel.

The ship ladder to the loft in some of the rooms was very steep and treacherous.

we stayed at douglas house, a cozy guest house just off duval street. the room had a private balcony overlooking the gardens. the staff provided excellent service, even assisting with a small wound. we enjoyed walking and biking around the neighborhood with restaurants and cafes nearby. the pool area was lovely to relax in, surrounded by greenery and the calming sounds of a water creek.

I had a fantastic stay at a charming place in an excellent location. Douglas House was just steps away from great eateries and shops. I was lucky to have chosen the suite with a balcony facing the east side, providing ample seating room for enjoying morning coffee and evening people watching. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially Nathan who assisted with my reservation and check-in. His recommendations for places to go were spot on, making my stay even more enjoyable. The room itself was cozy and gorgeous, and the pool was a highlight of my stay. It was open late, allowing for night swims, and we even had the experience of enjoying alcohol out on the deck, which is not common in most hotels. I had a wonderful experience at Douglas House and will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic time at Douglas House in Key West! The friendly and helpful check-in staff made us feel right at home. The upgraded room with a kitchen, two toilets, an upstairs, and a balcony overlooking the car park was a pleasant surprise. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything but still in a quieter part of Duval Street. The easy access to major sites and short bike ride to the beaches was a huge plus. We loved the relaxing oasis at the rear of the property and enjoyed sipping coffee or wine on the front porch.

The location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the lively bars and restaurants. We enjoyed the peacefulness of being away from the main tourist area. Upon check-in, we were greeted warmly and the process went smoothly. Our room was comfortable and impeccably clean. The pool area was lovely, with comfortable loungers, towels, and even complimentary suntan lotions. The staff was kind and accommodating. Douglas House was the perfect choice for my stay in Key West. The location, just off Duval Street, was convenient, and the apartment I stayed in was a hidden gem. The spacious layout and the private balcony overlooking Duval Street made my stay truly memorable. The shared outdoor swimming pool was a great way to cool off in the Florida heat.

The only minor flaw I can think of is the lack of a TV in the bedroom. While the living room TV was great, having one in the bedroom would have been a nice addition for relaxing in bed.

Located in a serene area, with a beautiful pool and easy parking options nearby. The rooms vary in size, but have everything you need. Impressive selection of beer and wine available for purchase. Helpful staff ensured our room had an iron and ironing board. A delightful stay overall!
