I loved the convenient location of Villa 1565, just a short distance from the Old Jail and close to the San Sebastian Winery, where we enjoyed a delightful wine tasting experience. The room was cozy and well-equipped, and the daily continental breakfast made for a great start to each day. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the outdoor pool provided a refreshing escape from the Florida heat.

Villa 1565 is conveniently located near many attractions, including the fountain of youth.

First stay, staff offered cold drink. It suits me perfectly. Wi-Fi, Flat-screen TV, and Fitness center. Coming back for business trip.

The sprawling courtyard under the 650-year-old historic live oak tree was an enchanting spot to unwind. It felt like stepping into a fairytale with the majestic tree towering above, casting dappled sunlight on the elegant surroundings. It was the perfect place to sip a morning coffee and watch the world awaken.

Super convenient location, with staff who went out of their way to assist. The ground floor room was easily accessible, well-equipped, and maintained. Enjoyed chilling by the pool under sunny skies. Towel mix-up happened a couple of times but didn't dampen the overall experience. 🌞

the room was super clean and updated, and the location was great - just a 10 min walk to everything. the area was beautiful with lots of outdoor seating. breakfast was excellent, and the young man who cooked and maintained the dining room was very helpful.

Villa 1565 is nicely upgraded and clean, offering free WiFi and a daily continental breakfast, making my trip comfortable and hassle-free. The room, though a little dated, was comfortable, and I appreciated the amenities such as the coffee maker and flat-screen TV.

The extensive noise from the passing trolley trains was a nuisance, waking me up early in the morning and disrupting my sleep. the room seemed very clean until we looked at the bottoms of our feet that were black after walking over the hardwood floors, indicating a possible cleanliness issue.

I liked the fact that the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They were able to assist us with getting all our money back after a one-night stay, which was a relief. Additionally, the location of the hotel was great. It was close to the historic district, allowing us to easily explore the area. One more advantage was that the room was spacious and comfortable, with a comfortable bed.

There were several negative aspects of our stay. The bathroom was in poor condition, with the tub showing signs of peeling and stains.

The hotel's location allows easy access to nearby attractions. It's in close proximity to the city center and trolley stop, making it easy to navigate around town. Guests can also enjoy the outside seating area, and the breakfast was a good variety with helpful staff.

One guest found the bathtub to be outdated and not cleaned properly.

The traditional décor and the cozy sitting areas at the hotel were absolutely charming. The beautiful, well-kept gardens with easy, flat paths made it a delightful place for elderly ladies like me to take leisurely strolls and enjoy some quiet time. The thoughtful touches like the well-lit corridors and spacious seating areas made it a comfortable and safe environment for us seniors to relax and socialize.

More variety in the TV channel choices would have made the stay even better for us seniors, as we could have enjoyed some more entertainment during our downtime.

During my transit in St. Augustine, I appreciated the convenience of Villa 1565 being just 0.3 km away from the Old Jail, which serves as an official stop for sightseeing trains and trolleys, making it easy to explore the area. The free WiFi and daily continental breakfast provided by the hotel were also convenient for my short stay.

The grills at the picnic area are like culinary magic wands! Housekeeping daily and the lovely receptionist were top-notch. But, feast your eyes on Sakada for tasty sushi just a skip away. Hungry Howie's Pizza and Ocean Avenue Sports Bar & Grill spice up the neighborhood scene. Now, for a cheeky moment, that room pic ain't livin' up to hi-def dreams, but trust me, St Augustine's vibes still shine through.

Clean room and renovated bathroom. Comfortable beds and nice towels provided. Convenient location for exploring the area on foot.
