San Diego Marriott Marquis and Marina was a convenient choice for my transit stay, being only 15 minutes' walk from the Santa Fe Depot and 10 km from San Diego International. The proximity to the Convention Center, just 0.2 km away, made it a perfect location for quick access to my event. The breathtaking views of the waterfront and San Diego Bay from the hotel added a touch of serenity to my stay.

The only small detail was a mix-up with the room reservation. Although I had called ahead to confirm a King Bed for my 15th-anniversary trip, the first night we were given 2 double beds due to a 'requested' versus 'reserved' confusion.

The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and the amenities provided were top-notch, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Despite the overall positive experience, the hotel's policy of limiting internet connections to only four devices per room was a slight inconvenience. With the prevalence of multiple devices per person, it caused a bit of hassle trying to add more connections.

I recently stayed at the Marriott in an amazing location by the marina for a few days. The pool area was fantastic with a hot tub, fireplaces, and even a Tequila restaurant. I loved the balcony in my room, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was attentive and courteous. Compared to other hotels, the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

I recently stayed at a hotel in a great location in downtown. It's walking distance to major attractions like the zoo, Petco Park, and Balboa Park. The hotel offered beautiful harbor views and had large and warm pools for guests to enjoy. There were plenty of seats by the pool, so it never felt crowded. I particularly liked the large shallow pool for kids. The hotel also had a nice area for walks or runs. The breakfast buffet was great, with a variety of options. There were also restaurants nearby, including the fantastic Roy's attached to the hotel. The hotel had convenient amenities like a Starbucks, gift shop, gym, and meeting spaces. it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Marriott.

The valet service. I lost my car for 45 minutes and ended up being late to an event.

The hotel is conveniently located just steps away from the vibrant Gas Lamp district and the San Diego convention center. The pool area of the hotel is beautifully decorated with fire pits and a poolside bar. The rooms are clean and spacious with comfortable beds and ample storage drawers.

We also appreciated the presence of a Starbucks on the property, making it easy to grab a quick coffee in the mornings.

The hotel's location was perfect for our New Year's stay. It was conveniently situated near the convention center and right across the street from Petco Park and the Gaslamp District. We loved being able to easily explore these areas and take in the local attractions. Additionally, the hotel had a great pool area, which was beautifully designed with a tropical garden layout. It was a pleasant spot to relax and unwind.

One aspect we didn't enjoy was the limited food choices at the main restaurant on the property, and the pricey options at the snack shop. the food selection could have been more varied and affordable.

The balcony was a great bonus, allowing us to enjoy the fresh air and soak in the views. The staff here provided top-notch service and made us feel right at home. We even ordered a late-night pizza and it arrived promptly and was delicious. This place truly has a resort-like vibe and we highly recommend it for both Comic-Con fans and regular vacationers!
