The location couldn't be better—walking distance to the wedding! The parlors were gorgeous, the pool was a perfect escape from the Georgia heat, and breakfast was a delight. the room cleanliness missed the mark, with a stained mattress cover and old odors. Communication gaps were frustrating, especially with room changes, and charging for parking felt unreasonable. The balcony lacked furniture, and the shower design was inconvenient. Despite the beautiful lobby and views, the experience left much to be desired.

Cassandra's swan creations for my wife and me were a charming touch. The lobby captivates, but the location truly shines. Comfortable beds and nice amenities enhanced our experience. On the downside, the pool was dirty, and the staff was inconsistent, particularly at the coffee counter. Our first room fell short on cleanliness, though we quickly received a better option. Maintenance issues and missing items in the room were disappointing for a 4-star establishment. Still, attentive service made a difference. Consider an upgrade next time for a more enjoyable stay.

This hotel puts you right at the crossroads of historic Savannah, allowing for leisurely strolls to iconic spots such as Chippewa Square, which is just a quick 80 meters away, and the stunning Cathedral of St John the Baptist, only about 300 meters down the street, making it a breeze to absorb the rich culture while indulging in numerous nearby dining options like the Diplomat Luncheonette and Fire Street Food, both less than a 5-minute walk from your door; though the valet service is convenient, it's a bit pricey for the level of service received.

Location was convenient and close to live music venues. Our room was missing a blackout curtain and the toilet wasn’t clean.

A charming dining room with delicious farm-to-table dishes and a great selection of wines. I enjoyed sipping my cafe au lait at the lobby hub and perusing the SCAD Gallery. The eclectic shops and art scene added to the creativity of the city.

The DeSoto boasts a fantastic location near attractions and restaurants. the check-in process was less than welcoming, and housekeeping fell short of expectations. the beautiful property has potential but needs to improve its service and attention to detail for a truly premium experience.
