During my recent stay at Homewood Suites, I was delighted with the cleanliness and comfort of my room. The separate living room with a sofa bed provided the perfect space for our family. I was also pleased to find that the staff was friendly and accommodating. Additionally, the snack bags provided in lieu of breakfast were a thoughtful touch and much appreciated.

Despite this setback, I must emphasize the helpfulness of the front desk staff. They were extremely accommodating and provided excellent service throughout our stay. From arranging taxi service to recommending local dining options, they went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The breakfast at Homewood Suites was a standout feature. Although there were some inconsistencies in the quality of the food, there was always something available that worked. The hot items such as scrambled eggs and sausage were particularly enjoyable, and the make-your-own waffles were a hit with my family. The staff at the breakfast service was attentive and kept the area clean and sanitized.

This hotel is a perfect choice! It's located close to absolutely everything, especially to the big conference centre of the National Mall. The rooms are like mini apartments, they come with a kitchenette, a huge bathroom with a shower and a bathtub, and a very comfortable bed. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of different options available every day. There is also a small gym to stay active during your stay.

One thing to keep in mind is the scarce supply of shampoos and conditioners in the room, so it's important to pack some just in case.

Staying at this place really made my visit memorable. I loved how close it was to the metro stations on different lines, making it super convenient to get around town and to the National Mall. There is also a small store nearby where I could get some essentials. The room was very spacious and clean, with a kitchenette and sitting area that made me feel right at home. The free Wi-Fi was a huge plus, and I appreciated having ironing facilities and a hair dryer available. I also enjoyed the dining bar and lounge area, as well as the restaurant buffet. But what really stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff, especially the manager.

There were some negatives during my stay. Firstly, the cleanliness of the rooms was subpar. There was dust and garbage in the room, and the bathroom door didn't close properly. Additionally, there were issues with the elevator and the halls smelling strongly of smoke, which was a problem for my son who has asthma. Lastly, I wasn't informed about the need to schedule a cleaning day, and there was a lack of towels and garbage removal in my room.

The quality of food offered for breakfast wasn't great, especially the warm food which seemed processed. Some other aspects of the hotel were dated and could use an update. Additionally, the lighting in the room was dim, and there was no sink inside the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient.
