The bed was comfortable, providing a decent night’s sleep. the lack of USB chargers was inconvenient. The room had an unpleasant sewer smell during our stay, likely due to ongoing plumbing repairs. It also featured an interior view, with constant noise from a machine that disrupted relaxation. Housekeeping initially missed the mark, as our first room was not cleaned properly. There was only one seat besides the desk chair for three guests, making it cramped. Even at a high price point, the room did not meet expectations. The noise from the street was also a significant drawback.

Despite some hiccups, this hotel remains a favorite for its charm and convenience.

I absolutely loved how easy it was to stroll around old downtown LA, as the hotel is just a short walk away from amazing spots like the Grammy Museum, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, all within a kilometer or so, making my city exploration delightful and convenient; plus, the spacious room and lively lobby added a pleasant touch to my stay. the hotel could use a bit of modernizing and refurbishing to enhance the overall experience.
